Yeah been doing the 52-present now and scoring upper 160's. Trying not to freak out. But if I have to retake in June, no biggie

Do you guys save your drills and PTs? I have all these stacks of paper and I don't see myself ever studying them to find patterns of mistakes, etc.

Hope you are doing BR at least. BR, recording mistakes, identifying weaknesses, etc., is critical. All this is stuff that I did not do for my two takes so far. Doing it this time. It does put a huge strain on your other scheduled study though!

Today I was thinking about how ironic your username is given your LG struggles.
Great job nonetheless. You'll get there.

Good job, I don't think it matters that you did it before it you didn't remember until you watched the video. I wish I could do an RC passage in under 9 minutes and go -0

If you wait awhile I don't think there's much harm in redoing games. There are a few I have memorized parts of, but for most I only vaguely remember the situation; I don't remember the logical part or the answer choices.

The important thing is to space out the repeats so you don't reinforce your memories (which is why I'm suspicious of 7sage's advice to redo games immediately and/or the next day).

I did some today that I hadn't seen for 3 weeks... I cut my times significantly (12 minutes in one case lol) and went -0, so hopefully that means I'm making progress.

How long does it typically take you to read a passage?
I'm not sure how long to read the actual passage, I'm guessing 4 minutes or so, but I've been pretty consistent at 10 minutes per passage for reading and answering questions. Given 10 minutes I can usually go -0 or -1 for each passage but it leaves me with 5 minutes for the last one and I scramble to get as many questions answered as I can by skimming the passage.

Yeah, I'll time how long it takes me to actually read the passages so I have a better idea of how to approach it. I've tried reading it quickly, but then I usually just have to read it again and it takes longer. Guess I'll have to try and find that sweet spot maybe 3 minutes or so?

Just reporting on my progress here:

Since mid-December, I have completed the LG Bible, Mike's Trainer, and half-way done with the Manhattan LR. I am also working my way down the LG drill from Cambridge, and have yet to start the drill for LR.

Rough timeline:

By Jan 31 - Finish Manhattan LR
By mid-March - Finish Drilling every section
By mid-April - Untimed PT (39-51), focus on getting every question correct.
Until the D-Day - Timed PTs (52-74), focus on timing

That's pretty grand!

Thought I might add a suggestion. I recommend using half of Pt 39-51 for timed sections. After drilling for so long, although your accuracy might have improved, your endurance might not be ready.

anyone here use 7sage? each 'chapter' has a time that i assume indicates how long it takes to complete the chapter but i feel that it usually only takes 1/2 or 2/3 the time to finish them..

I had JY's voice set at 1.4x so I finished the lessons a lot quicker than the suggested time limit.

Doing logic games in the morning is a great way to ruin your day.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
