Thanks for bringing that up! Helps me get my act together!RZ5646 wrote:Oh man I just realized how little time we have left. We're reaching the point when normal people start studying.
How's it going, nlee? What are you PTing around for the fresh ones?nlee10 wrote:You're telling me.RZ5646 wrote:Oh man I just realized how little time we have left. We're reaching the point when normal people start studying.

Yeah been doing the 52-present now and scoring upper 160's. Trying not to freak out. But if I have to retake in June, no biggielawjag2015 wrote:How's it going, nlee? Hope you are doing BR at least. BR, recording mistakes, identifying weaknesses, etc., is critical. All this is stuff that I did not do for my two takes so far. Doing it this time. It does put a huge strain on your other scheduled study though!RZ5646 wrote:Do you guys save your drills and PTs? I have all these stacks of paper and I don't see myself ever studying them to find patterns of mistakes, etc.
Good job, I don't think it matters that you did it before it you didn't remember until you watched the video. I wish I could do an RC passage in under 9 minutes and go -0gamerish wrote:DID A 10 MINUTE COMPLEX ORDERING GAME IN UNDER 9 MINUTES WITH -0!
ETA: Oh crap. I've seen it before. I didn't even remember I'd done it until I started the 7sage video though...
If you wait awhile I don't think there's much harm in redoing games. There are a few I have memorized parts of, but for most I only vaguely remember the situation; I don't remember the logical part or the answer choices.gamerish wrote:DID A 10 MINUTE COMPLEX ORDERING GAME IN UNDER 9 MINUTES WITH -0!

I'm not sure how long to read the actual passage, I'm guessing 4 minutes or so, but I've been pretty consistent at 10 minutes per passage for reading and answering questions. Given 10 minutes I can usually go -0 or -1 for each passage but it leaves me with 5 minutes for the last one and I scramble to get as many questions answered as I can by skimming the passage.gamerish wrote:How long does it typically take you to read a passage?JackelJ wrote:Good job, I don't think it matters that you did it before it you didn't remember until you watched the video. Since mid-December, I have completed the LG Bible, Mike's Trainer, and half-way done with the Manhattan LR. I am also working my way down the LG drill from Cambridge, and have yet to start the drill for LR.
Rough timeline:
By Jan 31 - Finish Manhattan LR
By mid-March - Finish Drilling every section
By mid-April - Untimed PT (39-51), focus on getting every question correct.
Until the D-Day - Timed PTs (52-74), focus on timing
Thought I might add a suggestion. I recommend using half of Pt 39-51 for timed sections. After drilling for so long, although your accuracy might have improved, your endurance might not be ready.CPAlawHopefu wrote:Just reporting on my progress here:

I had JY's voice set at 1.4x so I finished the lessons a lot quicker than the suggested time limit.Petrichor wrote:anyone here use 7sage? each 'chapter' has a time that i assume indicates how long it takes to complete the chapter but i feel that it usually only takes 1/2 or 2/3 the time to finish them..
I listen to him at 1.x7 or 1.4x or 1.2x. Depending on how much i already knowPetrichor wrote:anyone here use 7sage? each 'chapter' has a time that i assume indicates how long it takes to complete the chapter but i feel that it usually only takes 1/2 or 2/3 the time to finish them..
