Am I in that plateau stage now? it's weird...one day I'm 168, another 161, another 164.

I'm actually taking a day off..as some suggested. I will take that test tomorrow. But I think we should review tonight anyway!

Re: June 2014 Retakers
I jsut emailed Matt Shinners about older tests. Are they just good for drilling/review? It seems like they are too different to use for PTs.jk148706 wrote:Feeling off today. Did some work on PT 16, but after I did the games and one LR section, it just felt different and not really productive. I pre-ordered the PT 62-71 bundle today, so I hope that arrives this week. Otherwise I might get back into Manhattan LR for now.
Especially PTs 1-10.
What do you think?

Re: June 2014 Retakers
I'm feeling off, today as well. I am going to take your advice and take a day off, so I can see a score increase (even if marginal).
I did an LR section and improved quite a bit (-3) from the whopping -8 I had this weekend. I am going to count that as an anomaly.
I just hate NOT studying. I feel guilty and like time is passing by as the test slowly approaches. I feel like I have inadequate time to make it to 168-170 since I am living in plateau land.

June 2007 is an awful test. Ugh.
I just realized I haven't done it this go-round, I'll have to add it to my study schedule. NO THANKS.

Re: June 2014 Retakers
Checking back in. Took PT 55. Scored a 167. LG and LR were good. RC was horrible (-6). I don't know how to improve my rc score. I'm all over the place with that from -3 to -8. I guess it just really depends on my mental state for that day, whether I'm fatigued or feeling pumped.
I'll be honest in that I haven't reviewed so much since I'm in my final semester and upping my gpa takes precedent, but June is the best time to take it with the whole month of may dedicated to studying.

Re: June 2014 Retakers
Have you tried doing a lot (8 or more) passages right in a row with no breaks? Other posters have commented that this really "sets in" the stuff to look for in the passage. I know how you feel though- my RC is my biggest variable but luckily we still have 1.5 months to defeat it!DivineJustice wrote:Checking back in. Took PT 55. Scored a 167. LG and LR were good. Just swapping tests around...not necessarily never doing it. I have to do 52 anyway for the study group.

Oh hell no! I don't have the material or patience to postpone...I am sticking to a max of 30 tests. 25-30 for a month and a half is still good.Learn_Live_Hope wrote:I trust you!bohemiandaisy wrote:Learn_Live_Hope wrote:if you say sobohemiandaisy wrote:Just swapping tests around...not necessarily never doing it. I was burned out this weekend (careless errors, not up to it in general). But I am trying my best to stay on track. I have had major family issues this entire month. 51.5 is on schedule for me.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
