I hate missing even one on LG
RC: -3

Pleased to be back to where I want to be scoring right before the test.
All -3 in RC were from the comparative passage. I had marked all of them as uncertain but ran out of time to look back at them
Only pt 66 left for Thursday then on to the real deal Sat. So ready for this test!
FYI
This is my 180th post and last night I had multiple dreams about getting a 180 without any bad dreams about test day.
Taking this as a sign of success

Score twin. I just took it now and went -2 and -2 on LR with my -1 on RC (also third passage I think... that weird last question with the most analogous part). Feeling good for Saturday!

Finishing my prep tomorrow with PT66 and then review of it on Thursday. Getting so excited for Saturday its hard to think about anything else. With my PT average at 169 and my target score 170, anything is possible!

LR2? It was a really poorly written question, Don't fret you're gonna kill it!

So I felt like I was finally getting it this week.
PT 66 - 173
PT 64 - 173
PT 61 - 177 (personal record!)
PT 60 - 174
PT 59 - 176
PT 58 - 173
Huzzah. But then I sat down to do #57 and was totally derailed by one of the LGs (the one with the mauve dinosaurs; anybody else worked that one?), and it threw my concentration for the rest of the section, in which I ran out of time.
How can I avoid that on test day? I know some LGs are just harder than others and I need to not let them throw me, but what is the ideal strategy as far as staying within time? Should I risk spending time redrawing and redrawing my diagram until I get it right, or should I just start guessing?
This should not be happening 4 days from the exam...

I had issue with that game too. I barely made it through that section. I reworked the game a few days later, saw the key inference quicker and was able to crush it. Just rework it untimed, you'll be fine.

Mauve dinosaurs is one of the most hated games there is. Deputydog is right. Don't let it hold you back! Your scores are killer!

So since we are days away, I was wondering what everyone's expectations are for the test?
Mine are pretty high so it is a little scary...
176-180: You will hear my squeal of happiness. No matter where you are.
173-175: The town I live in will be the only ones to hear it
170-172: I will smile and shrug
Below a 170: You will hear my squeals as I am being committed after trashing the streets godzilla style.

I'm aiming for a 168-172. I really gave it an intense (maybe too intense?) effort, but honestly I would be happy with a 170, which would justify camping out in the libraries at GWU, Gtown and Gtown Law Center for quite a few weekends. I'd be somewhat happy with a 165 but annoyed with myself since this would mean I got sloppy on LR and missed at least one game completely.

My expectations are high because my GPA is low
174+: Super duper happy
172-3: Happy
170-1: Hmm...shrug, think on it..
Below 170: Kill-self, or retake
As you can see, a few points can really swing things for me so I'm hoping for favorable curve/omitted questions. My scores have dipped lately, but I've seen people recover (Someone got a 158 before a 180?)... I know its all in my head so gonna keep drilling and get the most I can get.

I was aiming for 168 and kept saying that I wanted to PT at 173 to ensure it, but now that I've tasted 174, 173 and 170. I want Yale so fucking bad that my wee wee jumps a little when I think about.
I think that's how I'll open my essay in fact.
Considering they ask for a personal statement and a 250 word essay on a subject of your choice, perhaps the former would be a better option to talk about your wee wee as an entire essay on it would be overkill. LOL.

That all depends on his wee wee

PT avg is a 171 so I'm shooting for that, I underperformed my PT avg in June because I choked on the first section with my nerves, I'm hoping the second time around everything is more familiar so I won't underperform and I am much more prepared this time

I'm aiming for a 172. I want to ED Northwestern and that score would give me soooo much more confidence due to me embarrassing gpa. Last three PTs have been 171, 173, 171.
Time will tell if the trend will include test day.

Vasa's ballin-out-of-control 10 LR sections motivated me to do a late PT:
PT43
RC:-6
LR:-1
LR:-1
LG:-0
Scaled Score: 174
Faith in LR...restored, using all my extra time to double check answers now. Although cleaning up RC is going to be big next few days, I'll probably need a bit of luck on Saturday. My LR needs to be tight to mitigate any damage from RC though. Going to try for 2 PT's tomorrow

Had the following today:
PT 54:
LG: -0
LR2: -1
PT:55
LG-0
LR1: -2 (~2 minutes on each question at the end, down to 2 answer choices on both. Missed both, the other answer choice being correct both times)
LR2: -0
PT57:
LG: -3 (lol.)
Although 2 were from the mauve dinosaur, I made that "key" inference quite quickly (probably because I took this PT bout 1 year ago) but I just got lazy and missed questions because I misunderstood what was being asked. Redid the ones I missed in about 2 minutes total for all 3 questions. Not going to get fazed by such mistakes.
PT 65, 100% never seen before. tomorrow.
Just took a melatonin tonight, can't be going to sleep at 7a.m. this close to test day, lol.
Started to watch caffeine intake while I prep too..lol.
From personal experience, I recommend not using any "extra" stimulants the day of. Use the same, or if anything use less.
I was PTing off of 200mg caffeine pills or even less mgs for my last LSAT, and the day of I had 1-1.5 32 ounce drinks (~150mg) + an additional 200mg from a pill + that adrenaline. It definitely got to me. (Don't underestimate adrenaline + anxiety lol, 350mg on a normal day does not "get to me" by any measure.)

PT61
RC: -2
LR1: -2
LG: -0
LR2: -2
-6/175
Overall, easy test IMO. Readings were easy besides the last one passage probably, logic games were easy, and LR was regular.

Love it. Win or lose, Saturday night will find me drinking a bucket of margaritas.
Game plan for the FINAL COUNTDOWN:
Today: PT 55 and 56
Tomorrow: PT 54 and 53 (yeah, doubling up for these last few)
Friday: Some light logic games review, nutrition, sleep.
So ready to get above a 172.

Oi, Gisney, what did you get your first time? I had a 166, and up until like a week ago I was thinking I'd be psyched to get anything above a 169 this round...
Then I found myself on the HYS sites, entertaining silly daydreams about my future as a Supreme Court justice, and it was like, **** mediocrity, I'm aiming for perfection. 175+ or bust.
Then I took a few more PTs and rounded it back down a bit.

I ended up with a 169 in June due to a random LG freakout. Had been avging aroung 171-172
Now my avg is 178-179 so I am hoping 175+ is not a pipe dream.

Took PT65 this morning and scored 173!
LRx: -2
LR1: -2
LG: -1
RC: -5 (was distracted by my cats knocking shit over)
LR2: -2
Raw: 91
Overall, I'm very happy with this score, considering I usually do not miss more than 2 on RC. Taking PT 66 tomorrow and reviewing both on Friday. Can't wait for Saturday! By then I will have taken 26 full length PTs, most of which I sat for after working an 8-10 hour day. I'm taking Friday off of work and getting an hour long deep tissue massage. Looking forward to going into the test as relaxed as possible. Best of luck to everyone else!
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
