Question: I tend to go between -4 and -5 for LR sections, so btw. -9 and -10 combined. However, I did a few LR sections from early PTs (26-29) and I've been doing terribly. The minute I hit PT 30 though things went back to normal. Have any of you guys noticed this? Did something chance with LSAC from PT 30 onward. I was panicking for a minute and then just decided to stick with the more modern exams.

I haven't really noticed what you experienced.
I know that the 2 Question per stimulus thing went away around PT 40 or so...
And LR has gotten "trickier" in the last 10 PT's or so...

We may be the same person (your username describes me perfectly). I get about the same, but I've ONLY been drilling old questions because they are more old styled. I try to challenge myself with upper level questions so it makes the regular ones look easy. Rest easy, because we have the same sentiments

My RC scores have been varying a lotttt this week. I went -8 the other night which hasn't happened since November. I then went -1 and -0 and drilled some most difficult passages and did well on those. Got a -6 tn on a PT, which was a bummer. Did an experimental RC tn as well and went -2. Ugh.

In other news my LR is improving. I realized tn that most of my incorrect answers are on on level 2 questions... which is concerning. I feel like that tells me to review my basics asap, but I'm getting nearly all the challenging questions right? Anyone else experience this?

Anyway PT 66, 167.
RC: -6
LR1: -5
LR2: -4
LG: -0

I took today off, so no. tbh I don't even know how to football so it's not that great a loss. Going straight through until Thursday, then taking Friday off.

Yep. After today's test I only have 3 more PTs I can do so I'm doing them Saturday, Monday and Wednesday. Also I'm in Seattle so it would be blasphemy not to.

I don't know how to football either but I know how to food and beer.
I'm sure you're plenty experienced in catching balls, kicking balls, getting tackled, taking balls to the face, etc. Don't be modest, Rigo. ;)

I encourage you all to not worry about curves and more worry about what you can control:how many you miss. Cuz at least that goal is measurable. He missed freakin 15 and got a 167. You cant control that.

BUT if we ARE speculating curves, I gotta think it'll be -12. Not based on patterns or anything, but I feel like the LSAT is shooting for precedence, as they have with a more structured, predictable exam. The past 2 have been -12, despite them probably warranting higher curves.

Good job on the LG. What do you mean these incorrect answers are on lvl 2 though?

My guess would be the difficulty rankings off from 7Sage or some other analytic site out there?

PT 71 DEC 2013
Took this today, didn't include an experimental.

RC: -1
LR: -1
LR: -1
LG: -4

174

Happy with the score, but can't count on doing that well in LR and definitely not in RC on test day. Ran out of time on the last game b/c I didn't recognize I could use templates (I'm pretty bad at that). Any ideas you guys have on what tips you off you can template a challenging game? Hope all your studying is going well.

The first step I even go through in any game is figuring out what type of game it is. Once you do that, the diagrams kinda make themselves

Yeah I don't think that curve is crazy or anything..a question was taken out so I couldn't figure out how it added up at first. -15 is pretty average for me, so obviously that's what I'm worried about. Also I'm a girl :D

Congrats on the 174 Sherlock.. I have a habit of trying to do templates too often and sometimes find myself wasting time going through scenarios that are just one of many instead of one of 4 or something. I just do the usual tips trying to figure it out looking for blocks or rules that really limit one variable and go from there so I don't think I have any helpful hints

PT 68 DEC 2012

RC: -3
LR: -2
LR: -4
LG: -6

168.

Botched timing and left four LG blank (even had 2 right. Had 15 minutes going into G4 and couldn't wrap my head around it.

LG for me is either -0/-1 or -5/-6. Odd games just seem to roll me.

Story of my life. That last game of PT 68 was extremely time-consuming and I ran out of time and had to guess on like 4 questions.

Makes sense. I was wondering if there was a Cambridge packet on more recent PTs that I was unaware of. ;)

Too bad, because other than LG that's really solid.

PT67 donezo. Very happy about my RC score but bummed about LR. I definitely need to emphasize more LR before game day.

RC: -2
LR1: -6
LG: -0
LR2: -6

Raw: 87
167 [Rigo'd]

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
