Score 175

LR -2

pretty much every single one of the tests I used studying for this were retakes from PTs a year ago and I was hoping those 175s weren't just a result of having seen it before, and now I know it's not! ready to crush this thing Saturday :P
Crushed it! You are going to make this test your bitch Sat
Phenomenal job...

I took the 78 rc again today and still ran out of time for the 4th psg. I was doing the last q of token psg when 5 mins were called.

I'd say that RC was p hard to finish in time, or may be I am mistaken.

Anyone else find the same for 78 RC?

once you notice you have 8 minutes or less left, just move on. it's never worth it to continue on a passage you aren't even confident about. I just chose what looked the best and kept it moving. but yes it was hard to finish, I had 6 minutes for the 4th passage but I managed to read it in 2 minutes so I had 4 mins for the questions.

finished 78. It was my worst score in a month and a full 4 points lower than my current average. Sooooo...that's awesome. I'm just hoping that since it sucked for everyone else too it's an outlier and not indicative of lowering skills. I have been PTing less lately to counteract any potential burn out leading up to the test and now I'm wondering if it had a negative effect on me.

On the bright side...I did well on LR which is reasonably different on the newer tests so good to know it didn't throw me off.

protein, how long does it usually take you to read a passage, on average?

If I had a good 5 mins on the last one, I could have done it's 5qs as the psg was really easy. It's just that the high art and token psg together took me like 25 mins.

Of the first 22qs, I missed 2, both in token psg.

and how much to answer qs?

I recorded myself doing 78, so now I am gonna go look back at the recording to see how much time it took me on each psg and it's parts

If I count today's RC score (-6) then i made a 170 on pt-78. With yesterday's RC of -7 I am at 169.

LR1 -1
LG -0
Lr2 -4
RC -6

easier passages take 2.5 minutes and harder ones take 3. most questions take 30-45 seconds and the harder ones take a minute (usually the ones that have really long answer choices).

just think of it this way: 27 questions. if you took a minute per q, you'd have 8 minutes divided by 4 passages = 2 minutes a passage. that's not enough time for most of us, so you HAVE to make sure you're averaging less than a minute per question if you want to get it all done.

Hmm, alright.

usually passages that have 8 questions take me 9-10 mins, 5/6 question passages take me like 7-8 mins. ugh

only got to 3 LR sets today with classes, meetings and homework. Going to finish up my readings then do a few games and passages before bed to wind down.

Just three more days really. sidelining everything for the rest of the week except LSAT and physical/ mental health. ((deep breath)) we've got this, guys.

I think I'm gonna run with my dog around the block at 6:00am. Hopefully this physical activity will alleviate most, if not all, of the hyperventilation.
Dope! What kind of dog do you have?
He's a mutt, but my best guess is some sort of chihuahua/dachshund/terrier mix!

Exact same thing happened to me on that PT. Don't let it screw with you too much.

Amen to that. That was the difference between my actual score and the 174+ I was hoping for

Feel that. :/
The good news - the LSAT will be over on saturday. Then we'll have all of our time and energy to put into school and other responsibilities. in the meantime, it's okay to make time for yourself, if you can.

I think it's helping me feel like I have some degree of control over the situation. and I'm feeling rusty af on LR right now and I wanna get that patched up before game day (or at least give myself the illusion that I have... )

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
