I think my worst case scenario is getting a "good" score, but lower than I want like a 171 or 172. Because I would want to retake, but mentally it would be much harder to motivate myself than if I get a 16x, because in that case I know I can do better.GiveMeGrayIcons wrote:I said the exact same thing. I was dead set on taking it once, but here I am. If you want to get into a really good law school (and I think we all do) and your score is lower than you wanted, your perspective changes.Seamus887 wrote:I cannot do this study for LSAT and work and study thing again... This is the one shot and I hit it, atleast I will keep telling my self that. I guess I have to retake with 171- since I know I can do better, but I don't want to entertain that.

Lol, yes - except with the right score loans are non-issue - hence retake until loans aren't necessarybuckiguy_sucks wrote:Like a huge fucking salary considering interest and the fact that loan payments are after taxLillet71 wrote:I looked at studying and retaking for the past year like this: when else in my life will I earn 150K+ for studying and playing logic games??
Your studying for this exam and the $$$ from that one score is the same as a salary IMO

I retook a 172.. it sucked. I messed up on LG and am likely scoring lower on this test. can confirm its nightmare zonewhacka wrote:
Yeah 171 is the nightmare zone for me. Too low to do what I want, but high enough that I can't be extremely confident that I can beat it if I take again. Like I've said earlier in this thread: I know this test really well. I'm good at it, and a lot of us are. The only thing that can kill a score for me is something like an abnormal game, a tricky passage, or an unusually high concentration of LRs. If I do poorly on this test, that's the reason. But the thing is retaking doesn't protect me from that. All I can do if I retake is hope they don't hit me with a curveball. If I retake, the studying won't be to improve, it'll be studying to keep my skills up.

I would run with a 172. I don't understand... Isn't that above the T3 median? I would still apply at the very least.earthabides wrote:I retook a 172.. it sucked. I messed up on LG and am likely scoring lower on this test. can confirm its nightmare zonewhacka wrote:
