So just did a LR section quick (everyone left work so figured why not) was a retake from October (early oct) and I drank a cup of coffee right b4 it... granted it was a retake I feel like I flew threw it (5 min left at end) and was able to point out why each one was right for the most part rather than oh I remember, B is TCR... Hoping to get almost perfect on it... could be completely bc of retake... or coffee, correlation causation??

Def correlation causation. Have 5 cups of coffee before the actual test and you'll be sure to get a 180Smallville wrote:So just did a LR section quick (everyone left work so figured why not) was a retake from October (early oct) and I drank a cup of coffee right b4 it... granted it was a retake I feel like I flew threw it (5 min left at end) and was able to point out why each one was right for the most part rather than oh I remember, B is TCR... I've seen a girl drink a redbull - same can before the exam and she left it under her chair for the break.JackelJ wrote:Def correlation causation. I've also seen a guy down a 5 hour energy drink during check in. Times be cray.

Sometimes when I drink coffee I can get sleepy (wtf right?) when I start studying but when I take C4 (pre workout), I'm super focused.

haha yeah. I always use less than a single serving and even then I'd advise testing it before you buy it. The stuff in there affects each person differently.Smallville wrote: lol it prob works great (never tried it, though I know its very popular) but its got a ton of crap in it that you don't need and just isn't healthy

I've been experimenting with what food/drink maintains my focus and doesn't make me need the bathroom within the first three sections. On game day I'm going with a small coffee/water + two whole wheat bagels in the morning and 1 banana and a 8oz can of red bull/water for the break. Red bull is god

To be honest, I've probably tried every supplement in the book for pre studying, and I have yet to find one more effective than monster.

I like Monster's sugar free one. Mostly because it tastes like Fresca. Otherwise, sugar-free Redbull all day err day.ilikebaseball wrote:To be honest, I've probably tried every supplement in the book for pre studying, and I have yet to find one more effective than monster.

Didn't mean to throw you off, Smalls. I know dealing with change can be emotionally challenging.Smallville wrote:ahh I suppose that makes senseDirigo wrote:BP Robert is applying this cycle so they're probably just transitioning in his replacement.Smallville wrote: completely unrelated... this BP Ben character throwing any1 else off a tad? looks like they replaced Robert... missing his copy-paste posts
Haha what's up guys? The rumors are true. I'm taking over for Robert, since he's off to law school in the fall. I'll be around if you need anything (e.g., prep advice, impromptu motivational speeches, a shoulder to cry on, etc).
I might post in here sometimes, but always feel free to drop by the BP instructor extravaganza if you're struggling with a question.
Best of luck, Febbers! See you around

So I didn't get too much done today other than a mix of 50 LR (44/50) and a RC section from PT 27 (21/26).
