I agree 100% hahaBirdLawExpert wrote:Eh...maybe? UT is really the only Texas school that I'm interested in. Are you planning to stay in Texas?
How about you?
I am in a different situation. My company is paying for my Law School, so I have to still work. I will be attending a Houston school.

My take was 2-3 points lower than my average because I fucked up a game but it wasn't devastatingly low or anything.

But I REALLY don't want to retake & don't feel like I can handle the stress again. Ugh if I bombed I'm gonna hate myselfwhacka wrote:Nothing you can do about it now. I was talking to my sister and she was like "what if you did way worse than you've ever done and you end up with like a 160" and I told her that would be pretty much the same as getting a 170 since I'll be retaking either way. A bad score isn't the end of the world.AbbeyS wrote:I'm really concerned because I feel like I'm remembering the test differently than it was in reality. Like I'm overexagerating my performance in my head...thinking like, oh LG wasn't that bad. LR only had a couple tricky ones. I aced RC...but now that I'm thinking more, I was feeling fucked after LG & nearly panicked in one of the LR sections. Fuck. What if I bombed it

The proctor should've been flogged and quartered for making flagrant, intentionally disruptive noises throughout the first 3 sections.
Half of the testers that were in my section that day showed up with me in February at another location to retake because of the same reason / evil proctor
2nd time took under normal testing conditions and hit right at my PT average

Honestly ignore the insecure feelings. I convinced myself I horribly misbubbled and got a 162 or something. Thankfully it didn't pan out that way.

What I think is pretty incredible is that in law school we'll be able to recognize each other because we're gonna be using the word "blasted"

Re: The Official June 2015 Waiter's Thread
In each section, my proctor kept saying "5 minutes remaining" at the 6 minute mark. Each time I thought we were going to have a 34 minutes. It really messed me up cause I felt like I had 4 minutes left and not 5. I'm afraid I rushed it toward the end of my first LR.AbbeyS wrote:I'm really concerned because I feel like I'm remembering the test differently than it was in reality. If you did bomb, take a few weeks off completely - one day you will wake up so pissed off at yourself for leaving even one point on the table the stress of retaking will fade into fury and obsession for hitting your pt on test dayAbbeyS wrote:But I REALLY don't want to retake & don't feel like I can handle the stress again. If a prof busts out the socratic method and some sad soul looks like a moron as a result, I'm so yelling "BLASTED" at the top of my lungs.ruizdaw wrote:What I think is pretty incredible is that in law school we'll be able to recognize each other because we're gonna be using the word "blasted"

I looked at studying and retaking for the past year like this: when else in my life will I earn 150K+ for studying and playing logic games??
Your studying for this exam and the $$$ from that one score is the same as a salary IMO

Before getting to discussion of who may end up at the same school, I'm curious as to how many of us ITT will actually end up matriculating in Fall 2016GiveMeGrayIcons wrote:If a prof busts out the socratic method and some sad soul looks like a moron as a result, I'm so yelling "BLASTED" at the top of my lungs.ruizdaw wrote:What I think is pretty incredible is that in law school we'll be able to recognize each other because we're gonna be using the word "blasted"

I said the exact same thing. I was dead set on taking it once, but here I am. If you want to get into a really good law school (and I think we all do) and your score is lower than you wanted, your perspective changes.Seamus887 wrote:I cannot do this study for LSAT and work and study thing again... Re: The Official June 2015 Waiter's Thread
I'm really hoping to in 2016. Will heavily depend on my score. If I have to retake it won't be til at least Dec but might be Feb, so I might push to 2017. 2017 would also be better for me financially, so we'll see.EnderWiggin wrote:Before getting to discussion of who may end up at the same school, I'm curious as to how many of us ITT will actually end up matriculating in Fall 2016GiveMeGrayIcons wrote:If a prof busts out the socratic method and some sad soul looks like a moron as a result, I'm so yelling "BLASTED" at the top of my lungs.ruizdaw wrote:What I think is pretty incredible is that in law school we'll be able to recognize each other because we're gonna be using the word "blasted"
