Taking a break from prep for a day. I did LR sections today timed and it was bad. I got incredibly sloppy and missed easy questions. Gonna give my poor brain a rest. Today was a real confidence de-booster.

Louis Litt like WTF why does he think he is entitled to know everything? He said to Rachel, "you couldn't handle the LSAT, you couldn't get into Harvard," is he a TLS megapoaster or something with that insult. My god.

That f'ing question about mild disagreement v. emphatic disagreement is one of two I missed twice
Was it G4? Took that yesterday and something about the wording threw me off.
It was G4 the first take and G2 the second. Did this weird thing where I set it up vertically and it took me forever, been a little while since I took it though

I had a couple of really bad days recently, took a day off, and now it's been back to normal. Definitely a good call

THERe'S NEW SUiTS?!!!?!?!?!

@kang

emphatic means like aggressive. Or very strong. So for example, if I said:

"You are so very wrong. There is no way that the Mustang can beat the Camaro in a straight race. It's got inferior gas mileage, and it looks like a turd."

That's emphatic disagreement.

Mild disapproval:

"I don't really like the Mustang's color options."

And we all know she couldn't get into H cause her GPA was too low. I mean she had a median LSAT (173?), was a URM (probably like the highest scoring black person that administration), had a lot of W/E, and pretty strong softs (I'm a better lawyer than lawyers at a V5 firm literally filled with graduates from your school, as evidence by a letter of recommendation from the name partner). Her GPA must have been below 2.0 or something.

Plus, she needed help paying for Columbia? Couldn't get any scholly with a 173/URM? Yeah, shit GPA.

Louis is the perfect example of what a TLS megaposter is like IRL.

Is it too gunnery of me to order E+Es and hornbooks right now. I have a lot of free time, and I guess getting a head start is better than finishing a whole TV show season in a week.

So LR is killing me, I feel like I'm approaching AC's a bit too critically which causes me to eliminate TCR and justify and AC that I can't fully grasp or something... and then when I see which is right I can see exactly why and all that... so frustrating -_-

Racists. She was adopted. She's a whitey through and through.

ETA: Also a legacy at HLS.

What do you guys do when reading RC passages? How long does it take just to read the passage, normally? Do you make any notes, underline?

172, iirc. P. sure she outed her GPA in one episode and it was solid. She's a URM too so the H deny is especially unrealistic.
Wow. Good point. Totally forgot that she is URM. Poor girl. All the pretty but only some of the smarts.

Louis Litt still a dixk though.

I have heard more than one person at school say the reason they wanted to go to law school was because of it. Sounds about as a good an idea as trying to go to med school because you like Greys Anatomy.
eh if I wanted to go to Med school it would be bc of House or Royal Pains(more likely the latter)

I wish that was my reason. Sadly I actually believe in the justice system and want to contribute to it.

ETA: I'd go to med school to be house.

I've wanted to be a prosecutor since I've had experience in a youth court setting, but my undergrad/experience with my mom in her CJ studies has kinda had me leaning towards juvinielle defense. Obviously not 100% sold on either that's just what I've wanted to do for a while. My undergrad experience has introduced me to environmental law and I find that intriguing as well.

ETA: obviously not very high paying work, and I can't apply for PI scholarships cause of laziness in college. 1000+ hours of CS in high school but I got burned out and relaxed in college. So in the end, my work will most likely come down to whatever will be financially responsible at the time.
