Are you truly asking about a lack of motivation or are you starting to feel burnout?
Either way, taking a few days off to renew your spirit can be helpful.

Also, micro-goals are good. It's harder to pick up your LSAT materials and start studying if you have three hours planned.
If you tell yourself that you are going to do four games or work for only 30 minutes, then that's a lot more manageable and you're more likely to do it.

+1 truths, Dr. Oz talked about it once on a morning show and talked about if you wanna get something done set a small goal. Set 5 minutes aside to do something and you'll find yourself actually doing it (give 5 min to clean your room and you'll actually do it and probably get it done instead of just telling yourself "okay I'm going to fully clean my room")

Did my diagnostic today. Brutal. LG absolutely dominated me. Plus a few careless mistakes elsewhere in LR and RC. I felt relatively comfortable with LR. I need to get my endurance up because I was definitely fatigued halfway through LG (section 3) and it affected section 4. It has been 3 years since I have picked up any sort of book though, basically, and that likely contributed to the fatigued feeling.

I did some more LR drills afterwards and felt significantly more comfortable with how to view the LR stims/stems. I really am enjoying the trainer so far.

Finally devising and finishing up a study plan from now to June --

For all the workers (part-time/full-time) out there and parents, do you study during the mornings before work or after work?

I'm exhausted during both of these moments of the day, so I'm trying to figure out which is the better of the two poisons

I appreciate it Rigo. It is helpful to see others on here progress during their practice as well. I'm not too down about it. Obviously one always hopes to start higher than they usually do. But I feel confident in embracing the process to get where I want eventually. I did 6 LR drill questions about an hour or two after the diag. and got 5/6 with all my rationales right in line. I'm mildly excited to get to games and sort that whole mess out. It's like I tell candidates about fundraising: embrace the process and live with the results. If one builds good habits, then the results will come naturally.

You just have to push through it. Try to break goals into smaller bite-sized goals. Or, alternatively, do more frequent, smaller stints. Take 5-10 minute breaks here and there. It may keep you fresher longer.

So I got the LSAT trainer after hearing some good shit about it from friends, etc.
Is the logic games section in it significantly better or comparable to the Powerscore Logic games bible, which I found to be more than adequate for logic games, my only real issue is timing for difficult games. Really considering just skipping over the entire section in the trainer altogether

Checking in, kids.

Retook a 169 in June 2014 and dropped 6 points. Since then I've been too traumatized to pick up another LSAT, but I'm probably going to retake this June for WL's and scholarship offers. Third time's a charm?

I lurk on the Feb thread. Seeing the anxiety I know I'll have in 4 months is enough convincing I need to study more!

Evenings and weekends. But a lot of it could depend on what your work hours are.

It is very different from Powerscore techniques. The diagramming is kind of weird to be honest. I've seen others on this thread just recommend skipping the LG chapters if the Trainer if you've learned them from another source.

Thanks for the advice, it was looking weird as shit to me lol I like how the trainer is for Logical reasoning tho. Hopefully it will help me in RC too as that is by far my weakest section the RC bible was kinda useless IMO

Agreed. The RC bible was a complete waste of time! I'm not really sure what a good way would be to teach RC though. I just try to quickly summarize each paragraph. Sometimes it works better than other times.

Thanks! And yes, I am. Hoping to get on NYU's WL and then WOW them with the June LSAT...

I think it depends on if you're a good morning person and how drained you feel after you job. I did (will do) full PTs on weekends, and then 1-2 sections every day after work just to stay sharp, and occasionally a PT.

Yeah my main issue is inconsistency for RC. Some passages I go -0 and others I do completely horrible

Mornings. I'm too exhausted to think about the LSAT when I come home from work in the evenings so prep usually doesn't go well then. I wake up around 5 am everyday to study & that works much better for me.
Pepper, how've you been? How many hours are you putting in every day?

mds6d, I was studying in the mornings for Sept'14 test, my rationale was that the test is sort of early in the morning so studying late night will get me into bad habits. June test timing means that I can study in the evening until late at night, so I am doing that! BTW, working out right after work helps to break away from the job cobwebs.
