thank u for reminding me of constitution day toby that reminds me that my UG would always have a lecture on c day about the constitution n typically would bring in sum1 like one year they brought in robert levy who is at cato n has successfully argued b4 SCOTUS so that was interesting but then my last year they really dropped the ball and the "peace and social justice crew" organized the event and it was basically like a 4 person panel of kids who had gone to DC to protest the keystone XL pipeline n got arrested n were basically talking about how awesome they were for getting arrested n every1 is there like omg yes we all need 2 do this so anyway im sitting there like ok this has nothing to do with the constitution so im like what does this have to do with the constitution n sum celebrity on the panel is like we were exercising our right to free speech and i was like ok that doesnt count at all thats tangential at best so anyway this goes on for a minute n im gettin pretty heated and i stand up and am arguing at this thing and end up just walking out after getting into an argument bc it was so dumb

so fast forward one day and im telling this kid i know about what happened cuz its funny n hes like oh i heard about that n hes like yeah this girl was saying how every1 at this school (our UG) is so cool and there are no assholes except one person who stood up at the constitution day event and got in argument and walked out

so yeah i was once called the "only asshole" at my UG
