Carne Asada tacos on soft corn tortillas are tough to beat, IMO. That being said, I do loves me some good "white boy" ground beef tacos on hard shells.

This was such a weird PT. Normally my LG scores are my best, but I took too long on a couple easy games and got caught when the last game was the hardest and I only had 5 minutes. This was my first shot at comparative reading and I preferred it to the default, reading slightly shorter passages improved my stamina for the full section.

Does anyone have hopes for certain levels of difficulty on certain sections? I think I'm hoping for as balanced a test as possible, but if I had to pick one section to make abnormally difficult, it'd probably be an LG section (or just anything but RC lol)

And there's next to no rhyme or reason as to when I struggle on RC. On that PT alone, I got -3 on the first passage, which I spent 10 minutes on. It was also the easiest one according to 7Sage. Then I got 7/8 on the final passage which I had only 6 minutes to do. Feels bad man...

Agreed. I'll take a difficult sequencing game or two and a mid-level grouping game. No weird fufu games though..... some of them can be pretty easy, but the thought of one when it really matters still makes me antsy.

Definitely wouldn't mind a historically easy RC section. Barring that though I'd probably rather have easier LRs than an easier RC - I'd be much more confident I did well on an easy LR than an easy RC.

I feel like a character in a movie who is trying to plug a hole in a sinking ship, and each time that I cover up one hole and wipe the sweat from my brow, another hole opens!
I'm definitely happy for a better LR performance, but ugh RC is typically a strong point for me, so the -5 is rough. I actually got the first two questions wrong on the first RC passage (stupid perfume passage )

I might wait till next week for my next PT, since this was my fourth in ten days with absolutely no improvement (171, 169, 171, 171). I am fiending for a breakthrough

I am the same dude. Ever since I've hit the new PT's (70+) my scores have literally been a rollercoaster. on PT72 I kept my combined LR to -5, and then on PT75 I went -6 on the first section alone. My emotions cant keep this up and down nonsense going.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the curve is just designed to get the percentiles where LSAC wants them to be (consistent with past tests), so by definition the curve factors in whatever the pool of test-takers demonstrate as difficult via missing questions.

I wouldn't mind a hard LG if it would balance out and make the rest of the test comparatively easier, but I would prefer to avoid a weird game.

I figured most people would think LG is the hardest--I mean, if you've done almost every game ever published like most people here RC is definitely the hardest but if you haven't spent a lot of time preparing LG is probably a lot harder.
