Dude, 78 is a beast from hell. Both me and my friend scored 6 points under our average. Don't sweat it.
I'm thinking about just, like, drilling 78. I feel like I should go into the test having seen it at least but I don't want my last PT to be a confidence wrecker.

Lol games from 71 and 72 took about full time. Hopefully this is me being sick, not me having forgotten all my skills.

I'd drill the RC untimed. Tbh that was the main difference in my scoring. LR may have been a bit harder, but not by much.
I'm incredibly curious about this nightmarish 78 RC.

I heard PT 78 is a pretty standard test (from the June Waiter's thread), so it might just be subjective weaknesses/strengths that might make it harder or easier for some people (or an off day). I find the 60s tests to be much harder than the 70s, for example.

Wow

Just saw one of the test masters point increase ad at the top and someone had a +9 increase from 171 to a 180.

I'm super fucking jealous.

That makes sense. I think if it was actually way more difficult than 'normal' for most people, the curve would have to have been a lot more generous.

yeah. I mean just go back to the June waiters' thread and look at everyone's reactions. I was literally like "dammit, should have taken that test."

yeah, there were quite a few 175+ scores there. it's surprising that many people missed only -5 or -6 overall on the test. no matter whether the test is "easy" or "hard", missing so few is kinda difficult to achieve.

Definitely.
Although I think it's fair to say TLS is a pretty unrepresentative sample of the LSAT-taking population.

what does "in order to" mean in LSAT, a necessary or sufficient condition?

it appears in so many questions, and i have been doing them without knowledge of the above.

Could you give an example of the context?

Yesterday morning- I had an unreal PT. Absolutely Crushed PT 73 and scored record breaking 177. Went -0 in one LR section. Went savage in RC too going -1. I think there were some questions that definitely just worked out in my favor. Really hope it wasn't a stat outlier because that was nuts. Going to review and drill today. By far my best performance time wise too. Felt very at ease and finished with ~5-6 min left in LR sections and was able to BR during the test, allowing me to fix one question to the right answer and then verify my thoughts on other ones.

I got up at 5 went for a run, showered, pounded some coffee and just was very relaxed and didn't think much about what I was doing and I think that mentality really made a huge difference.

Oct 08 LR1 was particularly nasty, IMO.

that's beast performance. i did 73 recently and i found it super tough esp the LR. which ones you missed?

i can't figure out how people are able to finish LR or RC with ~5-6 min remaining, i always run so close to the 35 mins.

IIRC the usage i had come across was:

"in order to do X, one should do Y"

Went -2 on BR for the tokens passage. I would e been ecstatic if I actually went -2 on this passage back in June.

Never looking at it again. Literally felt my eyes get heavy during review.
