I'd say high 160s is the floor for UVA, and this is assuming you have a stellar GPA.

So when is everybody planning on sending in their apps, if they haven't done so already? I'm aiming to have them all in on Monday.

I'm struggling regarding which schools I should write Why Xs for though, if any. My GPA is below everyone's 25ths in the T14.. so I'm just trying to figure out if it's worth writing them.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you only have to consider writing one for UVA and Michigan. I think in most cases, people write Why X essays in case they get YP'd. I'm slightly below or at median GPA for most T-14 schools, but I'm still probably going to write one for those two.

Can't hurt. I think it's worth the extra effort if you really like the school.

i'm submitting all my applications on monday, gpa-just under t-14 range, lsat under t-14 but i've been dealing with full time work and taking care of a sick parent the entire time so i'm going to at least give myself a punter's chance

There is no shame in getting a 169. A week ago I would have killed for a 169. But the shitty thing is, 169 is a score that's not quite good enough to make you feel safe about your T-14 chances, but still not quite bad enough to make you want to retake.
