Hahaha thanks buddy I figured I should obscure my identity as much as possible when posting on this website, so unfortunately I am not a mustard tiger.

Not going to grade any more PTs before the test. End Pting on a good note.

Oct 15
LR1 -2/-2 (#21 & #24)
LG -1/-0
RC -4/-4 (last passage was apparently way more nasty than I thought)
LR2 -1/-1 (#21)

Act 93/101 174 BR 94/101 175

I got literally trucked by my experimental LR section LR-1 Oct 08. Not sure what happened there.

Maybe one unmarked PT otherwise games and untimed RC for accuracy.

I got two hours of sleep last night, because apparently comparing my sister-in-law's girth to that of a horse will initiate a lengthy fight with my ladyfriend, even though she has never met my SIL and has no evidence to contradict the veracity of my claim. I really shouldn't have gone down to my test center and taken PT 78 at 8:30 this morning, but I did. During the second LR section tour groups of high school students began filing through the room I was testing in, using it as an example of what a medium-sized classroom looks like. This continued through the break and about halfway into the RC section. Fortunately the vending machines in the hallway sell jumbo cans of tweaker-grade energy drink for $2, and chugging one of them during the break got me through and kept me focused. I do not recommend any of this as sound test-taking strategy, but I got -1 LR, -0 RC and LG for a 180, so I guess I'm ready.

Congrats, IP! Great note to end it on! :D

How many more PTs are you doing before the test? I figure I'll get to one at most (+ drilling a bunch of individual sections.)

Thanks.

If I do a PT, Not scored or untimed. So no real ones. Leaning towards untimed but scored. Like BR on a fresh test.

Lol totally didn't see the last sentence, mb. Didn't think of untimed + scored - that's an interesting idea.

Redid LR from 71, which I bombed and didn't really look over a few weeks ago: -1 (2 circled) and 0 (none circled). So hopefully that was just an off-day.

Also, went to my TC and scoped out some of the rooms / Saturday traffic. There's so many rooms I could end up in that it doesn't tell me much, but the one marked exam room looked decent.

Calling it a day since I'm starting to feel better and I don't want to jinx it.

Just B.R.'d my RC from PT 78 today, and I ended up going -1 from -8. My score for the past few RCs has been between -6 and -4, and with B.R. I usually bring it down to -3, so this is a good sign for me.

I'm thinking the reason I screwed this section up was because I was just rusty - I barely touched RC this week, which kinda kills you, I think, considering half my mistakes were just plain stupid. My plan for next week is a section of LR, LG and RC each day, just to keep fresh.

Haha no worries. Yeah I mean I figure I can take a timed test and still know approximately how I did and still kill confidence. I think that doing it untimed and going over it is a bit better for that reason coupled with actually being able to check the material.

#24 was the most absurdly difficult shit I've ever seen. I ended up picking the right answer (I went with it because it sounded the most "necessary assumption-ish and not because I had any idea it was right). I still don't understand it.

Yeah that one was nasty. I'm not really huge fan of any of the three I got wrong. Usually, I'm more readily able to see the error. Those three just *wooosh*

Normally don't eat healthy, what can I do this week to get myself into the best possible shape mentally? Like what foods should I start eating/avoiding? Taking the test on Monday so have a week to work on this.

eat whole grains
get adequate fats, but make sure they're mostly healthy fats (not saturated/trans) -- this one is really important (because your brain is made of fat!)
drink at least a half gallon of water a day
avoid too many carbs at night (and sugar in general) -- in general, its better to get the majority of your calories earlier in the day (before 6pm)
^ will also help you sleep better/faster
eat every 2-3 hours (3-4 if you're not a big eater). but don't eat huge meals every time. eat whatever caloric intake is right for you and spread it roughly evenly throughout the day
make sure you get at least 50g of protein a day

Taking practice LR sections even though I'm so tired and keep getting way more wrong (-8, wth??) than I ever do. Hoping this is at least good practice for focusing while tired?

Could someone help me out with PT 77 s2 Q22? So stumped on it and there's nothing on the MLSAT Forums

All this nutrition talk is reminding me of when I used to eat healthy, 6 meals a day, and exercise. Back when I wasn't a loser :(

I really want to get back into exercising and eating decent again.

Does anyone know where I can download PT 78 online instead of having to order it and wait for it to come? :(

Can't order it in PDF format, have to buy physical copy. Your best bet is Amazon, pay for expedited shipping.

6 days, y'all. We got this.

Also, I've decided to do as little prep as possible this last week. Hopefully this strategy works.

Although it probably wouldn't hurt, I don't have the discipline to do this. I'm literally thinking of the LSAT at all times at this point. Gonna drill a bunch of missed LR questions between now and test day and do a few more PTs as well.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
