Do yall drink protein for meal replacement or to gain? I'm wanting to lose/tone up. Any tips?

Re: FEBRUARY 2015 WAITERS' CIRCUS
I get Optimum Nutrition Whey (Gainer)...have shop around since Amazon tends not to be the cheapest. It's more expensive than the regular whey, but it works much better if you're trying to gain weight/muscle build.
Also I'd avoid preworkout. Stuff is dangerous and unregulated. Just drink coffee or some other safe stimulant if you absolutely must.

Re: FEBRUARY 2015 WAITERS' CIRCUS
If you are set on chocolate whey from Optimum, extreme milk chocolate is a lot better. It's cheaper on bodybuilding.com only if (haha) you find a 10% off coupon code online.
However, you can buy Vitamin Shoppe brand whey which is basically the exact same thing as Optimum and it is cheaper. I wouldn't buy Optimum from a store unless you have some local store that price matches online. Otherwise, you will pay way too much.
This code should work for 10% off CHESTFLYES10

Re: FEBRUARY 2015 WAITERS' CIRCUS
I use for both. Usually meal replacement though. I use it post workout if I don't have time to eat but I prefer to get protein from meat immediately after workouts. If you're wanting to lose, HIIT a is probably best. Tone wise low weight high rep is what I was taught in order to tone.texasaggie10 wrote:Do yall drink protein for meal replacement or to gain? ETA: I like preworkout but I do know the negatives that can come with it. I've just used it for so long going without is weird

The LSAC website is broken .... it isn't showing grey icons. Someone from the IT team needs to fix that issue

Haha this would be so awesome.zacboro wrote:It's to the point where Friday/yesterday we lost our insanity and went so crazy waiting for scores that today we can't even go crazy again. I feel like we're still 2 weeks away from our scores.
I'm just waiting for an e-mail from LSAC saying "Thank you for participating in our 5 experimental section exam! To show our gratitude for your participation we will be giving you 10% off of your next LSAT registration fee. Have a good day."

Re: FEBRUARY 2015 WAITERS' CIRCUS
I usually drink two scoops of ON post-workout followed by a dinner high in protein about an hour or so later. +1 to what RR said about weight lose and toning. Before a workout I try to eat a banana and a yogurt 30 minutes prior for energy, never had an powder pre-workout.texasaggie10 wrote:Do yall drink protein for meal replacement or to gain? Is anybody else irrationally putting off things until they get their score? I'm telling my self I won't hang out with anybody or go on a date until I get my score back. It makes no sense but I feel wrong having fun this close to the release

Re: FEBRUARY 2015 WAITERS' CIRCUS
It's better to do stuff than sit around here trust me. Even if it's just going to the gym and playing shooty hoops for an hour or watching your favorite movie it passes time much better than the forum. Heck you can even be at the gym and check the forum between sets if you want.adil91 wrote:Is anybody else irrationally putting off things until they get their score? I'm trying SO hard to be productive and get work done, but I just end up checking my email on my phone every few minutes. I just want to know my score, good or bad, so I can move on already.adil91 wrote:Is anybody else irrationally putting off things until they get their score?
