ugh, 72 deserves more than that curve. Even without considering the LG, I think both LR sections were unusually difficult. I think they should've broken the barrier and slapped a 15 on it. Good jobbrusselsprouts wrote:wow 12 days wowo
I went MIA from TLS this weekend after bombing my PT. 163. Stupid mistakes, but a lot of things I just didn't understand. Completely blew game 4 (2/7) and a reading passage. It was 65 fwiw
Did 72 today. Wasn't planning on doing it until this weekend, but the snow has kept me home so I've got to work with what I've got
RC: -6
LR1: -4 (-2 BR)
LR2: -4 (-2 BR)
LG: -0
Didn't BR RC because I just went back through each passage carefully to find out why I missed so many questions. Anyway, that gives me a 169 which I'm happy with! After this weekend's disaster if gives me a huge confidence boost.
Going to do some Manhattan reading then spend the night under blankets.

Its awesome. You'll see. Once you get to around #150 or so you start noticing patterns and you feel so confident. Then, you jump into a PT and are like "holy shit, these seem so easy" and you never miss any of the level 1 or 2 questions.RaiderRed wrote:Haha. bouta have class then gym anyways. just make sure you take it slow. Figure out every wrong AC before picking the right one. Notice all the tricks LSAC pulls. Then, when you start grading, every one you get wrong check manhattan forums as to why.RaiderRed wrote:Praying that you're right. Then, you'll notice that LSAC recycles questions. They just phrase it differently and use different subjects. It is easily the best LR drilling I've ever done. Much more effective than the Difficult Passages packet

You have no idea. I live on Chipotle and Flame Broiler (mainly a CA thing). Both offer flexible dieting and nutrition facts.

Off to a semi-productive day.
Started off with 50 LR questions from a BP course book I never did and went 45/50. Seemed like a fair mix of easy/medium/hard questions.
Then did 4 shorter RC passages (5/6 Q's each) in 30 minutes and went 17/22. These were all Passages 3's and 4's in their respective PT's (if that matters).
Now I'm enjoying my Chipotle before heading off to do some LG.

look at you, I unfortunately didn't make the best use of my little extra time so far, so far I'm about a half hr ahead of where I would be if it was a normal day (though got a game in earlier) so hopefully I can bust out a decent amount of work before sleep... then gunna try and really do some work tm (prob throw a PT in too) so I can potentially drive around in the snow tm (and build a SNOWMAN!!!)nlee10 wrote:Off to a semi-productive day.

Wow getting close now. Good luck everyone taking the February test. Also don't freak out! You can do it, be calm and believe in yourself!nlee10 wrote:When should I be freaking out?Dirigo wrote:11 Days: 19 hours: 30 minutes.

I'm curious have any of you guys ever tried visualisation exercises or meditation as a way to help with the LSAT? I'm curious because I know that a lot of professional sports people says it helps them but I have no idea if it would help with test taking. Have any of you tried it and felt that it helped?

I usually listen to 8mile on my way to the test and watch great debaters the night before. Then while waiting before signing in, I sit, eyes closed, and visualize the test and the possible outcomes if I do well. Idk if it's common but mine carries over from my football pregame routine I used to do.EvergreenStateLady wrote:Wow getting close now. Good luck everyone taking the February test. Taking this test in timed sections and it's going horribly. I -1 on LG, which is great for me, but just -5ed on this LR section.
I think I'm too tired for this shit today. Taking a break to get some food and coffee before I keep going.

Lose Yourself is on the playlist I made to listen to in the car on the way to the LSAT. Forgot About Dre is also a good Eminem-adjacent song for pump ups.Dirigo wrote:"Lose Yourself" is a pretty good pre-PT song.
My ultimate pump up song is Problem by Natalia Kills, though.
