Or, rather, I've accepted it as inevitable.

I'm also worried one of my contacts is going to fall out (and/or otherwise fuck up/cause me pain, discomfort, and loss of vision) in the middle of the exam.
(I wonder if you can bring a spare set of contacts and call that a medical product... probably not?)

happy 1 week til test day!!!

i took PT 77 this morning and managed a 171. RC -4, LR -4, LG -2, LR -0 + an exp LR. I was super foggy for RC and the first LR, I need to work on waking up earlier and making sure I'm in the zone for test time.

anyway, i'm incredibly pleased with this result. this is the test i took a few days before my june test and it absolutely wrecked my confidence (i think i got a 163 after PTing between 168-170). i didn't remember much about this test except for the fact that the games section was rough, so i don't think it's very inflated.

ANYWAY, gonna take it easy the rest of today, BR tomorrow, and then just lightly drill the rest of the week. in one week + a few hours, we'll be DONE!

Would someone mind explaining PT 78, Section 3, Question 23 to me? Completely lost.

Alright, I need some advice.

I'm currently considering TFA, Law school, and a year abroad (fully funded) next year, and I'm having trouble pulling the trigger on one of them. I'm hoping my LSAT score will give me a definitive answer on what to do, but I'd love y'all's input.

since you have a shot at Yale if you get a 172+ or something, I'd 100% take some time off for TFA at least. what's the year abroad opp? you could also just apply to Yale this cycle and if you don't get in, take the time off.

edit: also H and S, but Y would totally be worth time off imo.

edit2: but if you don't want any debt at all and you get the Dillard or something then going to law school wouldn't be a bad decision either imo.

^ Agree.
I dunno - One of the things I like to do in a situation like this is map out pros and cons. I obviously don't know everything about your individual situation, but it seems like there are multiple pros of taking some time off (especially if you don't get in somewhere that have the numbers for ie Yale), and no real cons that I know of. Whereas it seems like there are a few potential cons of going right to law school, and I'm not sure what the pros would be.
But you know yourself and your own situation best!

Just scored 162 on PT 77. what was supposed to be my final PT :( . This is the lowest score I've gotten in my last 4 tests goddamnit I dunno what to do. This was also my worst RC score in a solid 2 months, I ran out of time on the final DNA passage. Breakdown ended up being:

RC: -8
LR: -3
LG: -5 (didn't figure that 3rd game out until I had about 2 minutes left)
LR2: -6

On one hand I'm happy that I've gotten my LR down to under -5 on average per section. On the other hand, I don't know WTF happened to me with the RC over here.

I honestly don't know whether I should cancel or not.

I'm reviewing the first LR from PT 78, and I just don't get how I got these wrong yesterday.

At this point, I just need some help with dealing with the pressure factor from timing. It's so stupid how I know my shit, but the slight pressure they put on us to figure shit out fast (EVEN THOUGH I CAN DO IT WITH SINGLE SECTIONS IN A "non-PT mode mindset", it's still shitty.

I just really need some tips as to keeping my shit together during the test.

Just wrapped up my final PT - #78:

LR1: -2
LG: -0
LR: -6
RC: -5

Score: 168

On RC, I saw how short the last passage was and the fact I had 8 minutes left and proceeded to not focus as much. Cost me 3 questions.

Year abroad opportunity would just mean delaying graduation and then just using the extra year of scholarship to go abroad.

Got a major headache in section 1 (experimental). Decided to stop rather than push through 5 more sections and get a low score. Thus, destroying my confidence on my last PT before the test. I'm going to pretend this never happened and PT tomorrow instead and hope this does not happen on test day.

Dips happen. Sucks to have that on your final PT, but don't let it destroy your confidence, and definitely don't cancel over an outlier.

[+] Spoiler
Business person assumes that had there been no maintenance in front of the building, he/she would have been able to park there. Answer C would help us find out whether or not those spots are usually filled whether there is maintenance or not. For example, maybe when parking in front on the building is open those spots are usually filled an hour before he/she usually gets there, so whether or not it was open or closed, he/she would have had to search for parking for 15 minutes anyways
hope that makes sense

Dank score man. I didn't do so well on this PT yesterday. BRing today and so far I can't seem to understand why my thought process was what it was during some of these LR questions. What did you think of the tokens passage? Just like in June, it caught me in somewhat of a daze again, but not as bad lmaooo

I'm convinced this test is among the hardest in LSAT existence. My PT average is a 176 and I got a 171. Shake it off.

If that test shows me anything, it's that I'm never testing in June.

having difficulty finding PTs with hard LGs in 7sage (4/5 star ratings)

before 20s very few hard LGs
have done all of 20-40 LGs
40s to mid 50s LG is super easy
have done most of late 50s to 70s LG

Did PT 76, misread a rule on game 3- spent five minutes staring at the game before I re-read the rules and realized my mistake. Solved for all possibilities within two minutes but was out of time. Fuck my life.

edit: it is especially bad because I literally invented a new group member and it should have taken me much less time to realize my fuckup. The positive I choose to take away from this is that had I read correctly I could have easily gone -0 for the section.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
