But the thought of someone at Yale reading my application makes me smile. In fact, my husband and I spent the better part of yesterday afternoon drinking vodka pineapple, pretending we were in Tahiti, while our boys played in 8 inches of snow. We imagined all the things we'd say and do at Yale once I got accepted. We couldn't stop laughing, we both got amazing ab workouts from the sheer magnitude of laughing we did.
Sometimes it's fun to do the ridiculous. I can now say I applied to Yale Law. I'm also unable to stand up straight due to sore abs.
My four year old is sitting on my lap and helping me type in my phone <3
Hey, another Midwesten-er! I also applied to Yale for giggles, but they took a 161 recently (though I suspect that applicant also found a cure for a rare type of cancer as well). I agree doing the ridiculous is fun, if not cathartic given this waiting is driving me insane!
