Looking forward to taking the September 2016 LSAT for my first PT back since cancelling my score after that virus game, hopefully I haven't lost all my knowledge haha. Officially starting prep for December, good luck to everyone!

Checking in! Just wrote September, got a decent score under my belt but I know I can do better (I was about 6 points below my average). Trying to stay positive. I've been a long time lurker here and I'm pumped to do this all again - this time with you!

I did a total 180 today (...........) from feeling like I wanted to die to being super motivated to do this all again a month from now.dj9i27 wrote:I've been self loathing lol, I think everyone is just freaking out. honestly I'm taking the whole 20 DAMN POINTS below my average pretty well. not. let's kill this tomorrow bronimbus cloud wrote:No one is responding to my posts today. 100%. Yeah I was taking PTs at 8:30am on campus starting a month before test day. But a bad sleep the night before combined with nerves did a number on me. RC and hasty mistakes on LR killed me. This was my first time around so I'm not stressing too much, next time most of those first timer nerves should be gone. Glad to have a decent score under my belt and 6 weeks to make some more gains.dj9i27 wrote: Use this time to figure out where you went wrong, even if it is nerves take your PTs at the bottom floor of the library or somewhere out in the open on campus. Honestly, I'm going to just drill the hell out of pattern games and RC, bought a subscription to the economist for denser reading material. You already know what test day is like, have a solid foundation; we've got 6 weeks to put it all together.

I'm in Canada so my decent score is likely very far away from your decent score haha. I mean as long as everything else is ready for your application the time crunch shouldn't be too much of an issue.dj9i27 wrote:
Shit a decent score would give me a confidence boost, I went below my diagnostic but am ready to destroy this starting tomorrow. The only thing that sucks is next grey day, my hand is going to be on the apply button because we are kind of on the wire, not horribly tho

Re: The Official December 2016 Study Group - Time to register! New Poll!
Hi guys! This is my first post here. Thought I'd say hi.
I'm taking the December LSAT. I took the September, but felt I didn't do as well as I had been practicing and cancelled my score. I was, and still am, practicing around 177-180. Any advice how to best set myself up for scoring as well as I have been? I try to take tests under conditions as similar as possible to the actual day, but impossible to replicate the fear haha. Also, during my September test, the person sitting in front of me's water spilled all over my feet during Reading Comp and I completely lost focus
so hopefully that just won't happen in December.

Here is a link the free BR meetings. You can call in or use citrix meetings to BR tests with other users! Good lord, well if my garbage LSAT score wasn't enough to bring me down, getting eight of the 23 questions I missed wrong upon review is. Off to a wonderful start.
Edit: Was complaining about a question that had me stumped but as soon as I did, it made sense. I think I fried my brain figuring it out though. @_@

There we go, all registered to do this again.
Cannot believe the next two months are prepping blind without being able to see what I flunked. Although I suspect it was mediocre performance across the board.

Not necessarily checking in. I do have to re-take, but considering my heavy course-load, I don't want to rush and waste a potential take in DEC or mess up my GPA. Not ideal, but I think sitting out this cycle, and taking when I am 100% Confident and ready is the move.
Will poke my head in here as a I continue to study! Lets crush this !

Lol most of my anomaly was in the Virus game lost 6 points, pretty much made up all of my abnormal point loss. Guess I'll try to do all of the weird games from now until then. Happy studying.
