Jealous of your times. Good work! I've been having trouble breaking under 5:00 for simple ordering. I'll post my cambridge bundle times later today once I'm done with the whole set.crazyrobin wrote:Wrap up with my last 5 simple ordering games.

Re: JUNE 2013 Study Group / Study Partner Thread
Taking PT 2 later this afternoon. I'm using the 1st 30 PT's for Jan, Feb, and the 1st part of March. Starting in Feb I will be taking (2) PT's back to back with only a 30 minute break on each Saturday. I really want to build up my endurance and get super comfortable taking tests. On Sunday and Monday i will review my tests, Tues-Fri will be for studying concepts and drilling.
I tried taking my 1st PT at the food court in the mall for distractions but this proved to backfire as a crying baby next to me proved too much...lol. I'm gonna try a public table at the library today.

Also doing LG and RC today. And I'm from Baltimore... Can't watch pro bowl since I know next Sunday is going to be nuts in the city...BlaqBella wrote:Today's focus is on LG and RC. Some reading for both sections followed by practice sets. Though games are my strongest sections there is always room for perfection/learning new approaches, etc..
Hope everyone has a productive weekend despite there being distractions (ProBowl, anyone?).

I've been buying knockoff toner for my Canon on Amazon for $12 with Prime shipping. Makes it really cheap to print everything several times.redecember wrote:Do you guys actually print out the Cambridge PDFs when drilling?

I've just been drilling on computer. Way too much ink to be printing those bundles. Maybe I should I look into a knock off toner as well but doubt I'd get a laser toner cartridge for as cheap as 12A → B ⊨ ¬B → ¬A wrote:I've been buying knockoff toner for my Canon on Amazon for $12 with Prime shipping. I don't know what printer you have, but all the imageCLASS lasers like mine have new no-name cartridges for less than $20 on Amazon. I'm spitting out 21 ppm in b&w and I can't tell any difference in quality from the $100 Canon cartridge.CardozoLaw09 wrote:I've just been drilling on computer. Finished the LRB this morning; that thing is a tome. Planning to take my first PT since my diagnostic three weeks ago. 18 of my 22 wrong answers were on LR, so I need to see some improvement there.

Third PT back, already into the 170s. Boom.
PT 43 - RC -3 LR1 -4 LR2 -4 LG -0
Raw Score: 90 Scaled Score: 171
Test was taken with no breaks between sections, though I finished each section with about 3 or so minutes to spare so I may be rushing just a little bit.
I'm coming for you, June '13 and I am taking zero fucking prisoners en route to that 180.

Thanks brother, you too. I am supremely jealous of your work ethic, if I had that type of diligence I would have 180'd the first time around.Daily_Double wrote:Awesome job.armedwithamind wrote:Third PT back, already into the 170s. Boom.

Re: JUNE 2013 Study Group / Study Partner Thread
PT 37: Raw 90, Scaled 169, curve -10
RC: (35:00), -4, #10, 22, 24, 26 (last passage basically ravaged me)
LR1: (32:43), -3, #11, 17, 25
LG: (30:06), -2, #13, #20 (games one, two, and four were a cakewalk, three on the other hand gave me trouble)
LR2: -2, #10, 19
Couple dumb mistakes, but I'll happily take it. Drilling is about halfway complete, not sure what my PT plan is, do I start PTs or not, but I'll probably just devote the next two weeks to drilling, then take a week to re-review all of my mistakes, then start PTs in mid-February.
How's everyone else?

No, I'm only working so hard because I really want to be done with applications early and hopefully receive my UVA acceptance phone call in mid-September.armedwithamind wrote:I plan on taking 1-2 PTs whenever possible. Are you a retaker?Daily_Double wrote:PT 37: Raw 90, Scaled 169, curve -10

Why don't the LSAT writers believe in the use of commas for LR!?

Commas can drastically alter the meaning of a statement. One less thing to worry about IMO.

No problem. It's nice being able to just print the shit out of whatever you want without thinking about the mounting toner debt.CardozoLaw09 wrote:Just checked online and amazon has generic brand toners compatible with my printer for cheaaaaap. Wait...LR stimuli have commas right? I just checked and saw one. What do you mean here that they don't believe in the use of commas for LR?griffin.811 wrote:Why don't the LSAT writers believe in the use of commas for LR!?
