I'm starting to feel a little burnt out, but I'm resolved to go ham for the next three days so I can feel comfortable taking Thursday off.

Hello from break, guys!
ETA: I've noticed a lot more LSAT bunnies in the library as the days to the LSAT become painfully close.

which tests are these?Dirigo wrote:I have 15 fresh tests set aside in case of retake.
But I should work on RC. I'm conflicted as to whether I should do the RC in these tests or preserve their freshness :/

Agree. I think that even if you are familiar with a passage's basic ideas, you won't remember the questions well enough.mist4bison wrote:You've already done every RC drill, 1-37?Dirigo wrote:44, 45, 46, 47, 50, 56, 57, 58, 60, 61, 62, 63, 65, 66, 67, 68dasani13 wrote:which tests are these?Dirigo wrote:I have 15 fresh tests set aside in case of retake.

ETA; Assuming yes, I'd go through older PTs you've done and redo those RC. If you feel like you remember everything pretty clearly, then touch the PTs, but only doing the RC sections, obviously.

Soo I did PT 72 today. It's a retake, so this score is definitely somewhat inflated. Then again, when I took it 2+ months ago, I only got a 165 on it (and was devastated), so I'm happy to see an improvement.
Real/BR
RC: -2/-2
LR: -0/-0
LR: -1/-1
LG: -4 (
)/-1 (equivalence question got me...ugh usually I have a pretty good feel for them)
Scaled: 175/178
I feel like even though I'd seen the test before, at least SOME of that 10 point increase has to be related to actual skill improvement. Right??? Haha or am I just being overly optimistic here?

I have also noticed many more LSAT hopefuls studying this week at the University Library. (I don't want to assume the Dec date drawing close is the cause, but it sure does correlate well

PT 60 (Retake, sometime in the summer)
LR: -3
LR2:-4
RC:-8 (bad even for myself)
LG:-2
Raw 83, scaled 167
Not representative but good practice. I really need to work harder on the RC and not ignore it.
Have to take another PT tonight because messed up my own schedule yesterday. Oct 12, fresh.

Re: The Official December 2014 Study Group
In good news, on LR I am only missing ~MBT, Strengthen/Weaken, or SA/NA questions. I'm getting roughly 4/5 of each of those question types correct, so I'm not bombing anything and consistently going -2 to -4 per LR section. Bad news, is I have plateaued with my ~MBT questions. Any recommendations that helped anybody with soft must be trues? I do well with using logical force and eliminating strong answer choices, but what is typically happening on questions I am missing is that I am ruling it down to 2 answer choices and ultimately choose the wrong answer choice because I am failing to be able to prove why one or the other answer choice is right or wrong. Is there something else that I am missing?

Re: The Official December 2014 Study Group
So, I'm starting to freak out. Right on schedule. I don't want to bring any negativity into this thread, but I honestly don't know where else to go.
I went -5 on RC 42 last night after work. I mean, I obviously shouldn't be doing RC after work, but that section left me having a breakdown in the middle of the library. This morning I took 43, didn't have time to even look at the last 3 questions, and I went -6. (Side note: 28 question RC section, WTF?) Devastated.
I'm obviously really tired, and I should probably take a day off, but I also want to cover as much material as I can. What should I do? Pls tell me everything is going to be alright. tyia

You guys are great! Thanks for the advice. I'll ease off a bit tonight and tomorrow, and I'll take Thanksgiving off, followed by some light drilling on Friday.
Only doing 2 PTs this weekend: 72 on Saturday and 73 on Sunday, with RC and LG from 47 as experimentals.
