Why would 72 on the Thursday be so bad of an idea? Disheartening? Will it crush me? Maybe I'll take it Sunday or Monday/Tuesday instead

Okay, glad I'm not the only one. First of all, not trying to freak myself the eff out by taking a really difficult test. Second, definitely not paying for that pleasure.smccgrey wrote:I'm just not taking 72. Unless I can find it for free somewhere....
and sfogs I hate those days where everyone around you just drops the ball. GET IT TOGETHER PEOPLE.
And, YES PLEASE. I don't have time to care about this right now. All caring must be re-directed to the LSAT!

It seems a lot of people are taking it on the Thursday before the test, which seems like an awful, awful idea. I'll do my last timed PT on Sunday (PT71) and will do PT68 untimed on next Thursday.sfoglia wrote:Should I be taking this? Just one of the sections though. The other was was okay.

Maybe I'll take it this Friday then, so I have a few days to recover from any possible beatdown that results

LR without a doubt. So many tricky answer choices. I sat for June so I thought I messed up LR because of nerves but I chose a lot of the same answer choices today. Also, a lot of the questions I got wrong (like 4 of them) happened because I chose the correct answer first, erased, and chose a wrong one. LG was below average and RC was average difficulty, imo.schmelling wrote:Dasani, what did you find most challenging about the test? My last PT will be PT 71, and I plan on taking it on Thursday.
I'll have plenty of fresh, untouched PTs from 53-72 to use for a Dec retake if I need to.
LR has seemed remarkably stable over time to me, so I'm anxious to get to 70s LR.

Yeah I like how the LG difficulty was spread out for this test. I agree with you that LR1 was more difficult than LR2.schmelling wrote:dasani13 wrote: LR without a doubt. I agree for the most part. I got tripped up by some of the RC questions, but nothing out of range, and some of the answers I missed are so insanely obvious it baffles me. I would be fine with a test whose difficulty is spread along the same lines as this test if it has the curve to match. Harder LR definitely plays to my strengths.

Bought two of those (my old one was dull) plus 48 Ticonderoga Blacks at Staples last week. Last year I used some Walmart pencils and a cheapo Dollar Tree sharpener. #NEVERAGAINdasani13 wrote:I got my sharpener in the mail today titled "Handheld Double Hole"![]()

This graph really encapsulates my frustrations at this point. I feel like I haven't really made any progress. Especially in the last few weeks, my PTs have been all over the map, which leaves me really queasy for test day. (Note: three of the 180s are experimental sections that I put into LSATqa to stay current on my question analytics and it excludes PT70, a 175, that LSATqa didn't have in the system)

ETA: Here's a graph of my sections across the tests. Same thing - a ton of variation.
