Make sure that I'm still doing the proper steps. None of these arguments are seen in one way. If I can hit it from multiple angles and see the logic, it's good enough.Big Red wrote:Those who have retaken PTs - what kind of gains were you seeing from your first take? What do you try to take away from the ratake, anything outside of a regular PT postmortem?
Btw, you "people" of the 175+ averages are insane
I have retaken a plentiful amount of PTs past. What you try to take away is not so much a score (in fact you can completely ignore this), but instead you try to recognize patterns even more. Also you should be even more thorough upon review. For example, I used to really zone in on why the correct answer was correct, but did not put enough attention into why the wrong answers were wrong. I focus on the latter aspect much more now and it seems to help a lotBig Red wrote:Those who have retaken PTs - what kind of gains were you seeing from your first take? Agreed. It's sort of like drag racing on roads you've raced on before. You become better and learn a lot about the technique involved while on the same road. If you continually race on different tracks it might be more difficult to pick up the correct habits needed to do extremely well.KanGaHru wrote:I have retaken a plentiful amount of PTs past. I now am able to get to correct answer choices much faster through process of elimination now than I used to.

No problem! If you've done almost all the tests and only have re-takes now, then you should start to really see the patterns in answer choices (especially incorrect ones) as you start to go through them again. Good luck!Big Red wrote:Thanks for the feedback, makes a lot of sense. I definitely feel the "fixation on correct answers" thing my first time through.louierodriguez wrote:Agreed.
