If you go abroad, you can still take it just to let you know. I almost took it in Munich, but my abroad trip got cancelled last minute.zacboro wrote:Rigo, I'm not going abroad but I'm definitely not doing June. Truthfully, I think I'll do fine on this test. But I have a crazy busy semester ahead and I work non stop in the spring time through mid June. So IF I end up having to retake I realllllllllly don't see myself doing it in June. It would be too mentally taxing for me.

Re: The Official February 2015 Study Group
I know this is a dumb AF problem to have but...
1.) Can't bring myself to care enough to wake up and PT early morning both Saturday or Sunday (or really, either, because going to start my one PT of this weekend in ten minutes).
2.) Don't want to wait until June b/c I have it in my head that June is historically the most difficult of the tests, and the anxiety will fuck me up. However, if I wait until June, am sure to 175+, provided I actually study this time, but only if anxiety doesn't get in the way. Hence, no June. June not going to happen.
3.) But, if I February, and I score high enough for a T14, but not high enough for a T6, that will be upsetting, since it would be disadvantageous for me to leave the area given the field of law I want to practice. If I score high enough for a T6 but without scholarship, that may be even worse, because so close yet so far.
4.) Lazy bones.
Someone tell me what to do. AKA please kick my ass into gear.
I miss my Septemberers. They were so motivating! (Bill RIP.) I was so LSAT from June-September.
Please help.
Wishing you all love, luck, and LSAT,
Sfogs

Re: The Official February 2015 Study Group
It's okay Sfogs I can't wake up for my PT either. I feel like it honestly doesn't matter what time of day I practice though because I score the same if I PT at 7 in the morning, 1 in the afternoon, or 10 at night. But you got this Sfogs! You can get your T6 scholly if you just put in the effort. At this point, you either know it or don't or you're on the verge of a serious breakthrough. Just think of something Bill would say every time anxiety sets in. You're far too intelligent to let this test beat you. Just remember your IQ is at infinity times that of the test. (Cause the test is paper and has an IQ of 0)sfoglia wrote: Please help.

Re: The Official February 2015 Study Group
How many takes do you have left, sfogs? If you have more than one retake left, you could always take February and keep the option open to retake again in June/October. FWIW time of day of PTs doesn't matter for me either, but you can also get up early on the weekdays and do a timed section if you want to get used to LSATing under sleepy conditions. If test anxiety is a problem, I'd probably just take Feb tbh- for me having the extra time to let my anxiety marinate would make everything worse.

You all are so fantastic. I feel pumped. I am ready for this. PT 47 give me your worst!!!
(Yes, I have literally the weirdest PTs left that haven't been taken, like 3, 16, 27, 47. Ridiculous.)

Seriously thank you so much.
I will post some gifs when I am done to express my gratitude and love for you guys.

Re: The Official February 2015 Study Group
I remember your posts back then, and remember your PT scores. You are in range, as you know, to pull this Feb test off. So you can push yourself to do this. I wouldn't let 'motivation' control your fate on this one. The concept of being motivated is pretty arbitrary, since you getting to work on it would constitute motivation in and of itself. The idea here is discipline, and motivation catches up to discipline. You can be disciplined in your approach, not think about your feelings, or your thoughts, and focus instead on getting shit done.sfoglia wrote:I know this is a dumb AF problem to have but...

Sfogs: think of the LOLSAT as a one night stand. Wear your sexiest lingerie and rock PT74.5's world.
ETA: Zacbro, I completely disagree with your mentality. Giving up the 200 bucks vs. giving up a potential take is not to be taken lightly. If you're not ready and aren't testing a few points above your goal, then bite the financial loss and withdraw. It is better to have an extra take when you know you scored below your potential vs. taking a very expensive practice test and potentially robbing yourself of an extra take.

If its his first time it may be worth it to take it just to have the practice in doing the actual test. I know a lot of people say that running through the test is really helpful prep.Shakawkaw wrote:Sfogs: think of the LOLSAT as a one night stand. Wear your sexiest lingerie and rock PT74.5's world.

If its not the first time, and he only has two retakes left, then I would tend to agree with your thinking though.

What would Mario do? Bowser would be in possession of Mario's greatest treasure, Mario would track down Bowser (study), beat Bowser (the LOLSAT) with confidence, attempt to capture Princess Peach (HYS), Bowser would steal her away again (underperforming), and Mario would set out to beat him again (retake), until Mario finally retrieves the Princess and the two live happily ever after in her castle (BigLaw). Mario never backs down from Bowser. Mario always wins. Super Mario forever.zacboro wrote:It's only my first take. I do not see a situation in which I need more than 2 retakes in the next 2 years.
