I redid the RC and i did equally badly by remembering and second-guessing a lot of my answers. Fractals are the worst.
Ya that fractals passage sucked! The more I think about the happier I am that I did not sit for PT 57...

PT A on Monday instead of tomorrow so I can review/drill PT 49 all day tomorrow.
Good job on the LG! baby steps amirite?
haha thank you. :D

PT 49 LR 1, #17 is such an annoying question. The argument switches from human beings to nonhumans and that completely threw me off.

Just tried to work them out. I have watched the 7Sage logic games. I see a tutor online from WA once a month. This month we are doing all logic games for the whole hour. I can set up, rules and game board. Can't make deductions to fill in.. I'm desperate:(

UGH I AM SICK OF THIS PLATEAU GARBAGE.

PT 58
LR 1: -4
RC: -5
LG: -3
LR -4
EXP (LR): -1 (25 NA L1 problems)

Raw: 85
Score: 166.

I took this LSAT in Sept and was (LR1 -7, LR2 -6, RC -4, -0) for the same stupid score.
Back to drilling grouping games. At least my LR is better.

ETA: Make sure to read all the words in the question stem, because "most accurately expresses the conclusion drawn" and "allows the conclusion to be properly drawn" are not the same thing. headdesk.

Do you ever take breaks from LSAT prep? I mean like a week off? I find that stepping away can help when I feel stuck in a rut.

Eh, I am not as productive as I should be during the week.
But you're right- time off has helped in the past. :)

Right. I think it's easy to end up in a strange phase where you're attempting to mix productivity with relaxation. You wake up and think, you know, I really need to accomplish this much this week. Then you kinda also think, but I need a break...you end up combining the two and making the worst of a situation. You need to go one way or the other. So if you really don't feel up to doing stuff, take a real break. Don't intersperse it with LSAT prep. You might even come back wanting to study having been away for what feels like (in LSAT prep time) a long time.

I realize it's different for everyone, but I feel like people sometimes discount the psychological aspect of this. The mixture of expectations, study habits, and self-awareness a person has matters a lot.

I procrastinated hard this weekend but I also feel like I had a strange breakthrough on flaw / assumption questions with the Manhattan book.

I was starting the trainer but ended up putting it down after a few chapters. If anybody wants my copy with a messed up binding and writing in the first half let me know, I'll send it to you for free if you pay for shipping.

I'm just not a fan of the way the book lays things out. Manhattan all the way. Also, 10 weeks as of today. Makes me nervous!

Confession: Today is my wedding anniversary and called in sick for work, not so I could spend time with my SO but because I want to do some PR and PF drilling and PT48.

I feel like a horrible employee and wife at the moment :( but I did buy my husband a really nice watch as an anniversary gift

No problem :)

I think TLS peeps rate it as a "Must Have". Maybe you can try getting it used from someone on TLS.

What kind of watch?

Don't fret, by the way. Personal life and long-term aspirations take precedent over work

So ice ever taken PTs 39-48, but have taken all PTs after that at least once (many twice). Would I be better served retaking the newer PTs or taking the older ones?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
