Same here. Fun, ain't it?
I figure HYS are out for me without amazing numbers, but I'm hoping being in the 75th percentile LSAT will give me a chance at the other T14s. Still, as I'm sure you understand, every other day I wake up feeling like I'm going to ding everywhere and then every other day I'll wake up feeling like I'll get some admits.
Are you an international or did you go to a US school without grades as well?

Reviews were really good and one of my buddy uses them working out and he's had Bose, jay birds, and one other big name one I can't remember, but he raves about them so I jumped the gun and bought them. I'm too tall and the cords mess with me while working out so I needed something Bluetooth. I'll let you know how I like em after working out tomorrow.Smallville wrote:haha I actually debated earlier about returning my jaybirds for thoseRaiderRed wrote:The LSAT convinced me it was okay to spend $200 on powerbeats 2 by dre cause I've only missed 15 LR questions in the five sections I took today.

I haven't gotten my transcripts in yet, but I have less than 60 graded credits (I have 5) so as far as I know I'm supposed to get the "See trans" message instead of a GPA or (as internationals have) a non-graded ranking like Average, Above Average, etc.Dirigo wrote:Weird. I wonder if that's a de factor 4.0 then? Did they just leave the spot for GPA on your candidate report blank?

It's my third take so yolo. Also I justified them by saying the morning of prep workout needed something special involved.nlee10 wrote:I aint splurging until I get my official score back.

I've GPAs from CC, dual enrollment, and study abroad all listed, but no cumulative GPA. General assumption is AdComs treat you as median, remains to be seen for me.Dirigo wrote: Weird. I wonder if that's a de factor 4.0 then? Did you take any CC classes or high school college classes?

US without grades. So Evergreen, Reed, New College is the list, I believe.CambrianExplosives wrote: Are you an international or did you go to a US school without grades as well?

That's my hope. I've been abusing MyLSN.info though and going through all the combinations of GPAs with different LSATs to try and get a good picture. Luckily I'll have 3 years WE so that might put some distance between me and my undergrad career. Still, it makes the LSAT super important since its the only quantifiable thing they'll see.Dirigo wrote:Better than a shitty GPA I guess.CambrianExplosives wrote:I haven't gotten my transcripts in yet, but I have less than 60 graded credits (I have 5) so as far as I know I'm supposed to get the "See trans" message instead of a GPA or (as internationals have) a non-graded ranking like Average, Above Average, etc.Dirigo wrote: Did they just leave the spot for GPA on your candidate report blank?

I'm banking on 8+ years FT work and a MS program. My transcript is, quite honestly, nearly impossible to understand.CambrianExplosives wrote:That's my hope. Sorry, but the powerbeats 2 suck. Sound quality is absolutely awful and there's a time lag when watching videos (see reviews on Amazon). If you're spending that much on headphones go all out and buy the Bose in ear noise cancellation (qc20i). They're $300, but they're unbelievable. Literally can't hear a thing when the noise cancellation feature is turned on. Just being honest with you.RaiderRed wrote:Reviews were really good and one of my buddy uses them working out and he's had Bose, jay birds, and one other big name one I can't remember, but he raves about them so I jumped the gun and bought them. I really want to get the Bose noise cancellation ones because I want to trade in my current regular Bose ones (MIEP2s) but I cannot get over how bulky the noise cancellation model is. What do you think? Petite female here.179orBust wrote:Sorry, but the powerbeats 2 suck. Sound quality is absolutely awful and there's a time lag when watching videos (see reviews on Amazon). Or the B+W's c5 model because they have a good seal. But I don't like the in ear feature. The sound is amazing though.

Re: The Official February 2015 Study Group
Ah thanks for the input! I mainly just needed them for working out and I was more concerned about fit and stability than sound quality. I didn't even think to check Amazon reviews I went based on cnet, Buffington, and nytimes. Obviously not excellent sources but I've tried them out and I like them for the purpose I want them for. I'll have to check out the lag on videos though. If that's a real thing I may return them tomorrow.Shakawkaw wrote:I really want to get the Bose noise cancellation ones because I want to trade in my current regular Bose ones (MIEP2s) but I cannot get over how bulky the noise cancellation model is. No prob, the time lag is definitely real. Gotta admit though that they're really cool, if that makes any difference to you.RaiderRed wrote:Ah thanks for the input! Shak: Are you talking about the battery pack? Honestly, it was a bit annoying in beginning but then I got used to it. Don't mind it anymore. That's really the only flaw. Sound quality is amazing, they're super comfortable, and the noise cancellation is unreal for an in-ear headphone. Read the reviews on Amazon, there were very few people who were unhappy with them.

Isn't it well known that Bose has just been trading on its name for years, and Beats is nothing but a brand name?

I checked out the video lag and it's real bad, but I might work out with them tomorrow and see if I like their fit for that. That's my main use for them.
