Good rule I picked up. Spend an extra 30 seconds after you've finished writing your LG rules to double check and make sure you wrote them down correctly. It's a great insurance policy to have.

Misreading rules in LG is the only thing that tilts me into oblivion in LSAT when I do it, especially when I'm 3 questions into the game already.Alexandros wrote:-4 on games from 76, all from misreading a rule on the third game. Holy shit. That's terrifying.

btw, your pep talk about PT72 being a statistical outlier was bang on - just did PT73 timed but in sections, got a 173. Looks like (some of) my skills are still there after all

Yeah, I think something else would be to check off each rule so you don't accidentally miss one. This fuck up yesterday happened while doing an in-out game and I wanted to chain up my rules together so I was skipping around. I never really do this so I forgot about one of them.SweetTort wrote:TheMikey wrote:I have to start doing this.. I agree. They aren't ones I typically get wrong, but I find myself reading them slower and I feel like their AC's tend to be the ones written in a very complicated manner.proteinshake wrote:those are easy for me but only because I know they tend to be MBT or RRE questions so I focus on the stimulus and make sure I understand it 100% before moving to the questions stem and answers. they'll be tough if you don't spend enough time in the stimulus.TheMikey wrote:Am I the only one that thinks some of the smaller stimulus LR questions are a lot more complex and harder than the "normal" or longer length stims?

Why did school have to start!? lol -- my classes already are picking up like crazy and balancing the this is tough. I felt like when I was working the issue with balance is more energy and then school is the actual work itself because there is no definitive time schedule that you can count on for completing assignments or reviewing course material, which makes it harder I think..but then again you have the freedom to do whatever you choose whenever.
Oh well- Home stretch guys! Lets get this and stay motivated.

That sounds like a really good policy to have. Gonna try to start doing that, though I imagine it will take some self-control.SweetTort wrote:Alexandros wrote:-4 on games from 76, all from misreading a rule on the third game. Holy shit. That's terrifying.

Haha I feel ya. Make sure you don't push off school too much. I fucked myself senior year doing that with GMAT. But yeah, I swear every chance I get my "break" is drilling some LG. my second class today is so boring, def going to sit in the back and crush some games.TheMikey wrote:TELL ME ABOUT IT BROjagerbom79 wrote:Why did school have to start!? lol -- my classes already are picking up like crazy and balancing the this is tough. SAME. I read it as nonconsecutive. Feel like the game would've been much easier if that hadn't happened (and actually, you know, worked.)studyingeveryday wrote:Same thing happened to me yesterday, same PT and game. I'm semi-excited for this test to be done with (at least temporarily) so I can focus on class and not totally gut my gpa.

As someone who works full time I do not envy everyone who is in school right now. I think it's a lot easier balancing work and LSAT than it would be to balance school and LSAT

I'm thinking about doing as many PTs as possible this week and then only doing 78 next week....but I'm kind of too scared to take that much time off next week.

i have to buy some new ones. i didn't buy one for june because some sus unranked law school sent me a goody bag in the mail with pencils, a sharpener, and some other crap pertaining to their school, all inside a zip bag the size that you take to the lsat lmao. so i said fuck it why not. i didn't use their pencils tho, the erasers were cheapSweetTort wrote:TheMikey wrote:I really REALLY HOPE this is my last time taking it.
