It's starting to set in now.Dirigo wrote:When does panic mode start for everyone?nlee10 wrote:16 days.
I did really well on a PT the other day, but it was old (again, I don't have much new stuff left) and not fully simulated (my mom walked in and starting having a convo with me in the middle of a section, so I ended up taking a break after 2 sections rather than 3) so I'm not really trusting that score. I'm terrified to take another PT and see a huge drop from that, especially so close to the test.
I've been drilling instead. Drilling has become comforting.

Don't let the scores get to you. Just take a PT without checking the actual score. You still check your answers and get good practice under timed condition, but the "number" won't cause any anxiety if you don't know itmist4bison wrote:I LOLd. this is so true. Re: The Official December 2014 Study Group
I only have a few fresh LG and RC sections left, all of which are in the range of 39 - 51. My plan is to take all of those sections separately under timed conditions between now and Dec.
Took 39 RC this morning, went -2. BR -0. The section overall felt pretty difficult, and I was slightly pressed for time towards the end, so I'm happy with the outcome.
The plan is to drill LR between now and 5:00, then take 39 LG after work, followed by some un/determined assignment drills.

I want a smoothie. Should I get a peanut butter based, banana strawberry based, or not get a smoothie? Oh decisions.

Did 6 untimed RC humanities passages today, 10 random mix of games with 7sage review, and drilled the games that I studied few days ago to get accuracy and timing down. Trying to get some stuff in before I go into the city and drink my face off (it's my buddy's 21st, aka last "fun" thing before the evening of December 6th).

Have fun, definitely don't drink once we are within a few days of the test though. I have experimented on multiple occasions drinking moderately and lightly the day before taking some PTs. Even on the days I felt fine, I still had at least a guaranteed 3 point+ decrease from my average PT score. That includes nights where I would drink as little as 3 beers the night before. Maybe I'm just a light weight though

Or maybe you anticipate a score drop and psyche yourself out?KanGaHru wrote:m27 wrote:Did 6 untimed RC humanities passages today, 10 random mix of games with 7sage review, and drilled the games that I studied few days ago to get accuracy and timing down. No, this is totally credited. IME, even if I just have one or two glasses of wine the night before a PT, and feel completely fine in the morning, I still invariably end up missing questions that I shouldn't be missing. Something about alcohol--even a tiny bit of alcohol--impedes my LSAT performance significantly.Shakawkaw wrote:Or maybe you anticipate a score drop and psyche yourself out?KanGaHru wrote: Have fun, definitely don't drink once we are within a few days of the test though.
