Re: The Official October Waiter's Oasis
Not trying to be a downer, but I skipped a bubble in June that left me with a 172 instead of 180. Had all the right answers, just shifted one question down. Contacted them about handscoring but to no avail. However, I still don't think it is anything to worry about; highly unlikely that any of that will happen.sanibella wrote:Don't worry about that. You can always ask them to handscore it.brief_little_candle wrote:i am now so worried about my scantron!!
maybe i made a mistake filling it out, or maybe my marks were too light!!

Re: The Official October Waiter's Oasis
And remember, Mike Spivey knows nothing of the test except for the TONS of calls he gets in the day(s) and weeks after from people saying how difficult it was and how they bombed it. Knowing that, he could just be assuming (I don't think you're stupid Mr. Spivey :-]) that consensus was that it was a very difficult test, and a -11 or -12 curve wouldn't be very "generous" for a very difficult test.oldercoldervoice wrote:"Not generous" could just as easily mean "about average" as it could "exceptionally harsh".cub1014 wrote:From Compendium:

The curve not being generous doesn't automatically mean the curve is going to murder our firstborn children, people.

We all commiserate with you but there have been several curves that are more generous than -12 in recent years, in the midst of the law school application decline. I don't think LSAC is intentionally gaming this.ggnobbq wrote:i blame declining applicants and recent delay of dec lsat registration date on the piss poor curve.
