I honestly think I got lucky with this RC section. I was actually engaged with 3/4 of the passages and that certainly helped!

LR sections were both ehh but hope to stay around this range.

I use Velocity's FREE videos and they are amazing. Seriously, I could only imagine what they're paid videos are like. But at the same time, if you're writing in Feb do you really think you'll have enough time to improve?

Basically, if I don't up my RC score, I won't write in Feb. And if it helps me get my RC score up by just 1-2 points, that'd be sufficient and well worth the $$$. I'm going to take another PT + RC section test tomorrow and, if I continue to struggle w/ RC, then I'll pay up. Rationale being that either it gets me that extra 1-2 pts or I'll have access to it 'til June anyway.

UCLA/USC sound so intriguing right about now (I'm from Canada, hating winter). I've definitely added them to my list of schools-to-consider.

Substantive portion of my post: I always appreciated his videos because he directly addresses the patterns in questions when he is deconstructing them. Short cuts, whatever. But it helped with clicking concepts in my brain space.

I'm thinking about moving back just to work for a year and try to firm up my CA ties a bit more (which have been non-existent since high school graduation).
I was initially wanting to move back to San Diego but the jobs are more plentiful up in LA. Hoping I can get into a legal assistant position at a biglaw firm downtown.
Or I'll just bum around LA doing odd jobs like all the struggling actors.

I guess if I don't improve on my LSAT (which I damn well better), then USC full-ride (or close to it) with my current numbers would be a pretty solid option.
