I need a second or third opinion on this. I have been trying to study for the December test while working full-time. But I've been pushing off actually taking the test since last February. And I'm not where I want to be in my practice tests. I'm scoring in the high 160s/low 170s--when I want to be closer to the mid-170s or high 170s. And my workload at my job just got much heavier for the next few weeks, so I will have to work evenings and weekends.

Should I postpone again to February? I will most likely be applying for the 2016 matriculation cycle. I just feel really crappy about the number of times I've postponed this thing and want to get it over with. And the thing about taking it in February is that there is no guarantee that I won't be faced with a heavier workload around that time either. What to do...

Don't take it to "get it over with." That's stupid. If you're not prepared, you'll have to retake anyway.

If December isn't ideal because of your workload and lack of prep time, just say no. If you're applying next cycle anyway, you can take the test any time between now and a year from now. Take when you're ready.

I live 4 miles from mine and thought about getting a hotel ha.

No. It's only an hour drive. Besides the fact that I make that drive almost once a week for trivia or doc appts or whatever pops up.

Anyone have any experience with the Manhattan LG book?

I'm using the 7sage set ups right now because it works for me and the videos are great, but I got the LG book with the Manhattan bundle and I was wondering if it was worth a look? I definitely don't want to find myself using a set-up I'm not that familiar with or getting mixed up during a PT, but I also think it might be helpful to get a different a fresh perspective, since -0 is a once in a blue moon thing for me. Thoughts?

no experience with Manhattan LG, but I'd give it a quick read. If there's any bits of notation of strategy that works better for you, try implementing with JY's way. Whatever works for you man (or woman).
