No that's be useless I think haha. I meant ten different games. Sometimes more. Just lots of games as practice to get used to understanding rules and making correct setups. Re: The Official February 2015 Study Group
If you do the same game 10 times in a row you should not only go -0 in 3 minutes, but also be able to draw photorealistic reproductions of the page from memory.
I love 7sage and I really appreciate their video explanations, but I really think the 7sage rote method is just to make people think they are learning more.
Another thing I just thought of—LSAT prep companies are insulated from bad publicity because criticizing a company usually means admitting that 1) you got a bad score even after taking a course, 2) you paid ~$1000 for a bad course.

I have to disagree. I've used the 7sage method. I used to get -8 and now I am down to -1/-2. While 10 times is a bit excessive, doing the same game over again usually helps you remember the certain inferences that you will have to rely on to get through new games quickly.RZ5646 wrote:I love 7sage and I really appreciate their video explanations, but I really think the 7sage rote method is just to make people think they are learning more.

This is a very valid argument. Personal preference I guess.Dirigo wrote:Not useless. And don't give us crap about how you'd memorize the answers. You still go through the motions to solve the questions.
ETA I mean 10 in a row of the same would suck.

PT 68
RC (semi-exp): 22/28 (just a mix of 4 old RC passages b/c no printer ink)
RC: 24/27 (!!!!)
LR1: 24/26
LR2: 21/25
LG: 20/23
170!
I honestly think I got lucky with this RC section. I was actually engaged with 3/4 of the passages and that certainly helped!
LR sections were both ehh but hope to stay around this range.
Already ranted about LG earlier.

On break from PT 51. Killing it on timing so far- finished all the sections with time to check answers. Let's see what that means for accuracy
Time to get some ice cream (because January in CA means weather in the 80s- this past week's weather has seriously been the best argument anyone could make for UCLA/Boalt and Stanford but slightly less so).

Life is so unfair.
I'll be in LA & San Diego in March. I miss it so much.
It was 81 degrees in the OC today. Winter is long gone here.

Does anyone here have experience w/ Velocity? Specifically, RC? I'm thinking about getting their RC videos, in a desperate attempt that something clicks and up my RC score...

Re: The Official February 2015 Study Group
Don't know too much about housing in ktown since I usually go during the day and leave once it's late...but parts of the area could be a bit sketch. IMO it's probably not bad versus other parts of the states like Compton/Stockton/Oakland/etc.Dirigo wrote: Oh! Nlee-adjacent topic.
I was actually looking at apartments online in LA (fantasizing) and I was going the DTLA hipstery route (cuz traffic sucks and rent is cheaper). But I was looking at places in Koreatown too. My friend lived there for awhile and will likely move back if he decides of LA law schools.
I could get a nice studio apartment in my budget so that's encouraging.
But how do you like that area? I know it can be a bit sketch but overall decent, no? I'd obviously stay north of the 10.
I know there's been new apartments going up in that area so I guess it'll just depend on your housing budget, haha.
ETA: Although my dad grew up/worked in ktown until college and he is now forever a suburb guy. haha
