Re: The Official September 2014 Study Group
So I just freaked out in the library.
I just took PT66 and GOT A 177! :O :O I'm freaking out.

I'm so giddy right now.
I changed my reading comp strategy. I was getting -5 or more consistently, which is comparable to an entire passage incorrect. So I said to hell with timing, spent more time on each passage, skipped a passage I thought would be difficult that only had 5 questions, finished the other passages and had ~6 minutes for the passage I skipped. Read through it quickly, and managed to finish all the questions in time.

The gap year suggestion is mostly independent of the suggestion to postpone to December. As I said: I think gap years are a great choice absent compeling personal reasons to the contrary. He should take a gap year because it will only help his application, not because he's not totally ready for the September LSAT.Learn_Live_Hope wrote:Yes, he should postpone. However, he should not take a year off by any means. In that case, December Retakers thread should not exist at all because no one should be taking the LSAT in December for the purpose of applying this year. Once it gets up and running, stop in and advise them to sit out for a year. Seriously?
Also - You can certainly take only in December and be admitted.

Also, still feeling like a neglected child!
I have PT's 67-72 to do before the exam. Should I do one every day this week to get through them all, or just pick 3 of them and space them out? If I space them out, any of them more difficult than the rest?

I don't think so, personally. I don't think you want to fatigue yourself like that. I have a fair number of PTs left, as well, but I am spending the bulk of my time drilling, with 3 PTs a week.ErgoSum wrote:Also, still feeling like a neglected child!

If you feel like it's important that you get as many done as possible, you can always take at least one of those tests and split them out into sections to add to the PTs. Make them your experimental.

Good idea with the experimental thing. GL on your PT. I'll rub my lucky stone in your name.

I'm going to be oddly sad when we all disperse across the "X Law C/O 2018" threads. I hope I end up at a law school with at least one of you!
