Hey guys and gals. I haven't posted in a while but I wanted to wish everyone luck. I know from my lurking you've all been working hard and are more than capable of 99th percentile scores. :D
If you're looking for a quick way to boost confidence and maybe even get a little out of it tonight I'd recommend doing a timed 4 section retake. I did today and dominated it. Its a good way to abate anxiety about taking it easy before the test, boost morale, and reinforce technique you've learned from old Q's. As for me, I spent the rest of the day by the pool with my SO and took in some sunshine.
May your Ticonderogas be swift and deadly on Monday.

Took what was likely my final preptest earlier today. (PT 74). For the first time, I included a fifth "experimental" section, the identity of which was not apparent to me while taking the exam.

Disappointingly, I scored a 176 (Missing four!! :( questions in LR).

I say disappointingly because the previous three PT's had been 178, 177, and 180.

I'm suddenly very curious what LSAC accommodations are like for service animals.

Here is a blog I wrote previously about the state of mind for LSAT game day. It won't help everyone, but I received so many emails from people who it did help I thought I would share. I hope you are one of those people this test day.

That's still a great score. I'm sure on test day you will achieve your goal score. Which is what by the way?
Thanks. My goal is to hit a 178 for the test. Looking at mylsn.info, it seems like there is a substantial difference in acceptances and money given between the 175-177 range and 178-180 range.

In total fairness I cannot be too disappointed with my progress so far. Only five weeks ago, I scored a 160 (or was it 162?) on my cold diagnostic. Three weeks ago, I was routinely hitting in the low 170s. Now, upper 170s.

If it really comes down to it, I will retake the exam in October!!

Yesterday's PT 73:

RC -4
LR1 -3
LG -2
LR2 -2
______
-11 = 171

LG was really draining. Yet, PT 73 in general was exhausting/frustrating. Oh well. Also, the concert/survey LR question was borderline ridiculous along with the sockeye salmon question. ugh.

Good luck to all of you tomorrow. I had a restful and fun weekend, might do some easy games later, and have a positive and confident mindset. I wish the same for all of you. Knock 'em dead.

DId a final PT: #70 .

LR1: -1
RC: -2 <---- freaking RC!!!! :(
LG: -0
LR2: -0

Overall, -3 questions for a 179. If I can replicate this on game day I think I will be okay.

VERY pleased with my improvement by the way. Went from a 162 about six weeks ago on a cold diag, to low 170s three weeks ago, to upper 170s (and a 180!) recently. LR has moved from multiple questions missed per section, to usually -1 or -0. RC went from -10 to -3 or fewer recently.

My six most recent tests have been: 179, 176, 180, 177, 175, 178!

GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!!
