well some of you guys are already solid at it lol. Let me do it for one section and if I like it I'll let you guys pm me for it. If not, then there isnt a point in me telling you guys anyway because it would make you guys worse haha
either you're thinking of a different forum or you're using the lower end of the spectrum for "some" also what is good/bad for one might work for another, I mean I don't care about PMing I just don't see the point in not throwing it out there for everyone to decide to try it out, this is a "study group" after all... but maybe I'm just crazy

OH MY GOD I JUST WENT -2 IN A NOTORIOUSLY HARD RC SECTION.

Its so weird, because even though I was trying this new method out, I was thinking "damn, I probably missed like 10." I even facebook messaged the girl before I graded it "I think this was just a hard RC. I tried your mindset, but I don't feel like I did well."

Then I graded it, and I literally missed freakin 2. I swear to god i thought i missed 10. I CANT BELIEVE IT FAM.

Awesome job! You probably just felt that way because you're used to struggling on the section.

I've improved my RC score by reading passages in Morgan Freeman's voice in my head

I just circle all the transition words for the most part and really focus on the reading and note the authors pov and opposing pov. I'm lame though.

Besides some technical strategies like noting examples, author's attitude, whatever, I sometimes note my opinion too...if I think the argument's stupid I'll write stupid. Or if I'm agreeing I'll put !!!!! stuff like that. I think it really does help me remember the passage better. I spend ~5 minutes reading and I get through the questions real quick.

I'm doing PT 65 tomorrow. Probably going to sleep in since I've gotten little sleep this week but I should really do a few tests at 9 AM soon. real soon I guess.

I'm in too! Though I have a thing in the morning so I'm going to PT at noon. I'm not crazy enough to do two back to back but I might go straight to drilling afterwards instead of taking a break... let's see how ambitious/braindead I feel.

I'm guessing you'll be deciding after tomorrow's result about postponing?
Good luck!!

Good luck!! And either way, don't let it get to your head. If you decide to postpone based on tomorrow, worst that happens is that you get to take it a decent hour with better weather in June instead of getting up at ass o'clock with us. That's a pretty good worst case scenario!

Just opened up a fortune cookie:

"If you can shape it in your mind, you will find it in your life."

I dreamt about getting a 170 on the Feb test. It must be a sign.

I dreamt about a chalupa a few nights ago and my fiancé just bought one. So there's some supporting evidence.

just did another one using the same approach... -4! My goal is to go -6 or lower because I was averaging 5 on a good day but usually 6-9. I just went -2 and -4 back to back. Gonna do one more before my PT tomorrow to solidify it. Wow.

It would totally take less pressure off my LR. My games are almost always perfect, so I was dependent on going -9 or lower combined in LR and -6 or lower in RC. But if I can somehow get it consistently to -4 and lower that'll be amazing for me

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
