no worries lol

i took this LSAT too. I scored basically the same on the real thing except for -7 on RC (Sec 4). I thought I missed so many because it was my last section on the real thing and I was mentally tired. I'm trying to make sure this time I feel better on section 5 but who knows if at this point its making a difference

ahh i see, my endurance is definitely a lot better than when i took in june. what was your experimental? mine was rc (3rd) and then 4th i had the real rc. was it the same for you? i remember being one of the only ones on here with an rc exp... everyone was asking me about which LRs were real because everyone had LR exp's. i could barely remember

I think I'm gonna do a full section of LR as warm-up on test-day, rather than just 10 qs.

I need to figure what the heck is going on. This is not a great time to completely forget how to do the section that comprises half of the test. Tbh I think it's that I've been neglecting LR (especially new LR sets, partly because I'm almost out) and getting out of practice.

ANYWAYS so heavy LR drilling for next two weeks.

Gonna do the rest of 76 tomorrow. So far - -1RC (26 is a BS question), -3 LR1.
I know you're a beast, but to be fair G3 on PT 76 is absolutely FUCKED. It ruined me score when I took it in October, it killed me on a PT I took a week ago and took me about 20 minutes to do in B.R. a few days back.
Shit. D: I didn't get to the LG but I guess I'll have that to look forward to tomorrow.
My bad bruh

Lol wow, smh. I might be wrong but I think the art institute had something similar about misleading students. I think that's why my friend stopped going there, but I don't remember.

For some reason I was beyond nervous, so nervous that before they administered the test I went to go use the bathroom and pee'd in the boys bathroom and realized when I saw guys shoe's in the stall next to me I ran out so quick so I wouldn't be seen
Ended up grading my test and did

LR - 7
LG - 2
RC - 5
LR - 5

19 wrong which is higher than I usually get wrong making it a 165

I'm really flustered and disappointed ): I usually score a 168/169. I've been trying to break into the 170s and it's been such a struggle. I'm taking the Sept. lsat in 2 weeks. Maybe I was super nervous and it screwed me up? Or maybe I was burnt out from PTing the days before. All I know is that first section I thought I was going to have a heart attack.

Advice on how to stay calm on the actual test day?????????????
That reading comp was GARBAGE IMO.

Expletives removed.

Took that one today too
LG exp -0; went over bubbling twice, double checked a few questions, finished five or so mins early. Proctor looked at me - gave the thumbs up. Didn't bother to BR since I basically did it during the test. Cookie game had one really funkily worded question.
LR1; -4 BR -2.
LR2; -2 BR -0. BR corrected mistakes were one guess and some changed answers from doubt. Didn't get to do warm up questions before this test.
RC; -6 BR -5. Two or three I see. Two or so I think we're garbage questions.
Actual LG -1 BR -0. Got worked up on first game and had to redo the entire thing at end of test. Error was made in third game I think.
170 // 176 I think

The big thing for ITT tech is that they were no longer eligible to accept federal student aid or student loans and they didn't exactly have a ton of students lining up to pay cash. Their tuition ranged from $45k to $95k on campus or $25k to $76k online. (http://programinfo.itt-tech.edu/cost.pdf) No admissions standards, dismal employment outcomes, and a complete reliance on federally guaranteed money to allow students to pay their outlandish tuition. Huh. That reminds me of something, but I'm not sure what.

Re: PT 77
[+] Spoiler
Using combinatorics we know that there are 4 *3 * 2* 1 or 24 possible outcomes for the order that the employees will act. Because they act in a completely predetermined manner when it is their turn, each of those orders has only one possible set of office selections that they will make. In around 4 minutes just now I was able to draw a big tree of all 6 possibilities that could occur if J went first. For example, if J goes first and L goes second then either P is third and T is fourth or vice versa. So that's 2 possible orders and then you can go in and figure out what they would pick in each of those orders.

So, assuming I got a little faster as I went along, in maybe 12 minutes I could fill up all the white space on both pages with every possible outcome. Then the questions could be answered super quickly, in maybe 2 minutes. Add in a minute of panic at the beginning and a minute to read the rules and I think I could get the whole game done in 16 minutes.

Clearly 16 minutes isn't going to work, so there must be a better way. On my preptest today I had 19 minutes left when I got to game 3. After I failed to figure it out in a couple minutes I moved on to the next game and then came back later. Probably when I was just starting with the LSAT I skipped some games, but not in recent memory. I guess that the other sections were probably easier than normal, and even missing 2/5 on that game turned out well for me, but it's hecka nerve-wracking. I'm lucky that I was able to put it behind me and do the remaining LR section without making any mistakes because I still had that game on my mind.

Thanks for the analysis. Much appreciated - that was a fucked up game. I made the one inference that X or Y would have to be first and then basically brute-forced it.

Just TLS stalked someone and found that he/she got into HLS with pretty much the same stats as me (International, 2:1 UK Degree translated to LSAC Above Average) and a 172, made be happy cos I thought I absolutely needed a 175+ to have a shot at HLS (been searching on mylsn with a LSAC GPA of 3.67 as I thought that's what Above Average translates to).

Then again, still aiming for 175+ cos, ya know, play it safe, challenging myself, and braggin' rights (mostly the braggin' rights  ).

PT72+PT56 now.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
