Re: DECEMBER 2014 WAITERS (Score Release Poll is up!!)
well maybe it was just me but after powerscore tweeted that scores were coming out (on the day that they came out before icons turned gray) then i think a lot of people went to LSAC and kept refreshing their page.Dirigo wrote:Huh? This didn't happen/doesn't make sense/no causal relationshipLeeAllen wrote:question: will prep companies be announcing score releases in advance like they did in september do you all think?
I tend to think that the LSAC learned from their mistakes, and, not wanting the server to crash again, probably will release scores before sending the test to companies
I think the action of tweeting that scores were being released (because they had gotten the test from LSAC) is what caused a lot more people than perhaps normal to be on LSACs page.

It crashed. For like an hour or so.Dirigo wrote:Oh. You wrote that the test prep companies were given the test.
Did the site legit crash or just get slow?

What are these icons of which you speak?Dirigo wrote: I won't be on-edge until it is reported that icons are grey.

I recall it being longer than hour, for what it's worth.Shakawkaw wrote:It crashed. For like an hour or so.Dirigo wrote:Oh. You wrote that the test prep companies were given the test.

I think a part of the problem was the lag between the test companies tweeting/blog posting and the actual icons going grey. At that point, It wasn't immediately clear what info the test companies had beyond guessing like everyone. At that point, the only credible white smoke still seemed to be grey icons.

Hmm, I started getting emails from a totally different slew of law schools yesterday than I had been getting since setting up my LSAC account. They couldn't possibly be informed of our scores before we are, right?

Probably not. Did your transcripts recently go complete? That could explain a sudden increase in interest.

Yeah, that's why I don't get why people check on LSAC. I guess they want to see their score report in its full glory and go over the ones they got wrong. But the email is perfectly fine.Dirigo wrote:Lulz. I'm going to just wait for the email.Shakawkaw wrote:It crashed. For like an hour or so.Dirigo wrote:Oh. I think mine came out in one of the later batches and even though I was eventually able to log onto LSAC, it would crash everytime I tried to look at the score report.
The email even lists your percentile!

Hmm. Friends are trying to drag me out for NYE but I really don't want to get all dressed up and shit—it's black tie and just blah.
I just want to chill and do like a sober nye, hit the gym, watch some football (esp since my boys play tomorrow so early), work on apps since I'm behind on that and scores be coming on Friday, etc.
Urghhh.
That said, if I do get dragged out tonight I'm not half-assing it, so general consensus is I look better wiff no facial hair—yeah?

Thanks, shaq/peger/rigo, for the Gtown info. Not what I wanted to hear, but helpful nonetheless. Guess I'm just going to wait till Friday and then decide what to do from there. It's my first time taking the test, so I don't really know what to expect.

This Girlfriends Guide to Divorce show is god awful. Bravo needs to stick to rich narcissists throwing wine at each other.
