Thankful at work for giving us a 1:00 PM early release so that by the time I get home at 7, I can wine and cry.

Here is a secret.
Timelines as far as admissions haven't changed one bit with this two week early release -- or at least not for the exceptional majority of law schools. I just wrote a blog on this I need one person to look over and will then post/tweet/share/ cut it/rock it/ and send t to the warehouse etc. But just an early fyi, when it's said and done -- this is actually much ado about nothing. At least as far as timelines with law admissions go, as nothing is moved up. As far as how much spiked eggnog you consume maybe the world has changed dramatically.

That makes sense. This early release probably has more to do with competition with the GRE than trying to expedite the admissions process.MikeSpivey wrote:Here is a secret.

GRE got LSAC shooketh
haha, nah seriously though, I think it's interesting that they are releasing scores nearly 2 weeks early. It makes me wonder what else they may start doing differently, if anything.

Very true. I suppose the one benefit is that it let’s you sit on your score for a couple weeks and not feel rushed to immediately send you apps out the day we receive it. But other than knowing it earlier it really does nothing for our admissions timelines.MikeSpivey wrote:Here is a secret.

Do you think that lsac will release Feb lsat scores with the same advance that they've decided to release Dec scores? Thank you.
Edit. I know it wouldn't make a huge difference in terms of apps but it would help me with the schools I've been considering that have a march 1st deadline.

Re: The Official December 2017 Waiters Thread
No idea, this release took us all by surprise, but the March 1st deadline is kind of a joke anyway. I know of like 2 schools that enforce it. Almost all will take your application up until August. Why wouldn't they, it only helps them. They are just trying to get you to get applications in because early data for them helps them with later decisions.eraserhead wrote:Hey Spivey,MikeSpivey wrote:Here is a secret.

Also you can submit an application without an LSAT score of course.

Did you really just copy and paste the url of a page that one needs a login to access thinking the people that clicked on said url would be able to view it?? If the answer to that question is yes, and you currently see a bunch of green arrows, then yes that is the pagerestored123 wrote:https://os.lsac.org/LSAT/Status.aspx
That's the page I need to be refreshing right?

Makes sense. It's nice that they're showing they can get scores done faster but not sure how I feel about the fact that it's either going to be a very Merry Christmas for some of us or F the Holiday weekend for others...MikeSpivey wrote:Here you all go.

But wont they look at the apps in some sort of order? If I submit my apps tonight, and someone with similar stats submits theirs on the 2nd would that not put my app higher up in the queue?MikeSpivey wrote:Here you all go.

Honestly, while I personally want a 12, I feel like it's going to be higher than a 10. June I thought it was going to be a 10 and it ended up being a 9...Trsk345 wrote:What is everyone’s curve prediction... hoping for a -12

Considering the logic games had difficult rule substitutions and some of the logical reasoning was way out of left field, I'm hoping this is the case. I just need like two more points and I'll be satisfied!Trsk345 wrote:What is everyone’s curve prediction... hoping for a -12
