Thank you all the December folk wishing us luck, love the positive reinforcement.. :D

I have to admit, I lurked a bit in your waiter's thread yesterday, it was entertaining almost like a soap opera (then I told myself, get back to business, NO DISTRACTIONS!!!)

side note: I'm quitting my job in retail, I got my first paycheck today and it is really bad how low it was, so that means even with all my international development/nonprofit experience I will be tailoring my cv to a techy job out here since that is what is popular :/

Tomorrow it is back to the LSAT. Tonight I'm reviewing some more MSS questions.

Hoping there are some other retakers lurking. I'm a little embarrassed
So sorry to hear that :( I was prepping for December but around beginning of November realized I wasn't prepared and decided to go for June instead.

Side note.. I LOVE your avatar.. crazy cat/kitten/feline person here :D

Thank you! Should have probably done what you did. I don't think I was mentally prepared for December.

And if law school doesn't work out, I plan to use the money I've saved for it to open a cat cafe instead haha

Hi everyone!

New here and planning on taking the June LSAT. Started lurking this forum last year, seems super helpful!
I'm taking the Testmasters prep course starting in March, but I wanted to start studying with the Powerscore bibles before then.
Should I take a diagnostic before I start the bibles in order to see where my weaknesses are?
Or, should I just start studying and wait for the Testmasters diagnostic in March?

No need to be embarrassed; it happens to everyone. I scored way below what I thought I would in December & will be re-taking June, so at least you know you're not alone! :D

Ending my long-time lurkerdom; retaking from a disappointing 165 in December.

Prepping for this go is going to be harder since I burned through alot of Cambridge drilling material, although I still have ~20 PTs. Any advice on how to economize prep material in the 5+ months I have for studying is welcome.

Completely up to you. Though I never found diagnostic to be that important--I feel like it's really just to give you an introduction and basic feel for the test.

Since you plan to start prepping before the class (good!), don't wait. Just take the diagnostic as soon as you can, and then dive into the books when you've got time.

I'm starting to lean towards a June rewrite after getting scores back last night! Does anyone have any tips on how to improve RC? That section kills me every time :'((

Any of you guys get an individual tutor? I think that'll be best for me in comparison to a class.

Any recommendations?

Why do you feel that an individual tutor would be best for you instead of a class? Are you looking for structure? Someone to point out your weaknesses? Trying to get an idea so I can make a recommendation. :P

I'm probably not the best person to give advice, because RC was my weakest section in Dec, but honestly I think the most important thing is your focus/mindset. I've always experienced the biggest hits in RC when I just wasn't into the passage much.
