Haha that poll though... I've got 50 hour work weeks, working out, classes for work, and I'm working on my masters. I will drink a beer to celebrate in 2024. If you are not in the same boat as me, enjoy it! It's going to get pretty busy here soon,

Hi Everyone,
Do we also get to see how many Q's we got right/wrong on the experimental section (just to see how well we did, for giggles). I had exp. LG (and apparently like many others, killed that section, but suffered on the real LG...) Thanks!

Re: The Official June 2015 Waiter's Thread
Looking for some enlightment...I am confused on how the curve affects scores. Does just affect those with 170+ scores, or if there is a decent curve of -12 lets say, will it also help those in the 160s or even 150s worse case scenario?
Excuse my ignorance, but my prep books never taught on the curve theory!

Shitpoasting is the reason my post count is over 1k. Basically off topic posts, which is usually not encouraged in the on-topics but waiters threads are given some leewaysunsrule17 wrote:I'd like to second this questionthriller1122 wrote:BTW, what is shitpoasting? I'm not hip with the lingo...

Re: The Official June 2015 Waiter's Thread
Sorry, you're confusing me. They wouldn't put the babies question in an experimental section because it was a real question... So I know that section 1 for me was real. I am confused about whether my third LR (section 4) is experimental and all I can remember is that there was a question about salt/ genuine cooking and maybe a question on head butting dinosaurs in this section. Can anyone confirm that this is experimental?amd3_3 wrote:Was your first LR a 26 questions or 25 questions? I had LR-RC-LR-LR-LG and I had Babbling Babies as well. I think, however, this was in my first section of 26, which means it's definitely experimental. Where was your 26 question section or were you 25-25-25?Merp wrote:For people with LR-RC-LR-LR-LG, I am sure my first LR was real (babbling babies), but am stuck on whether my second or third LR was real. I'm pretty sure there was a question about salt and gourmet chefs in the third LR section, and am pretty sure this is my experimental section. Can anyone confirm whether they think their third LR (fourth section) was the experimental and had this question? Thanks
If you were 25-25-25, this could mean that there were multiple experimental AND the experimental order changes (i.e. your first section was babbling babies at 25 questions), which would mean that any 26 question was the experimental. If, however, you were 26-25-25 AND babbling babies was your 26 question section, it was experimental.

Re: The Official June 2015 Waiter's Thread
experimental sections are non-disclosed, including raw score results. some say this is because lsac uses the data to structure future sections for lsat administrations; others say their employees ration the experimental sections into small digestible portions to sustain their subsistence diets during the long periods between each testing date.JessiCAL wrote:Hi Everyone,

Re: The Official June 2015 Waiter's Thread
I deff remember that one - it kinda tripped me up. I think I got it down to two and did my best guess. I didnt have an LR exp so it was a real section.Rjik wrote:Is was something like some critics were saying a writer was not as good as his mentor and give two reasons why... Does that ring a bell? For anyone that didn't have LR as a experimental?ChillTomG wrote:No, but if you could be more specific that might trigger a memory!! Also I had an experimental LR section so there is a chance we overlapped.Rjik wrote:Do you remember anything about a mentor in one of the LR sections?ChillTomG wrote:No memory of that one.Merp wrote:I had LR-RC-LR-LR-LG
I though the third LR (the fourth section) was the hardest. Does anyone remember having a question about salt and gourmet cooks? This was in the third LR section and I hope this is expirimental!

On the LSAC website it says July 7th - is that just the absolute latest day they send out? I would really really like for it not to be that late hahaChillTomG wrote:She was reading off of her official instructions, so it must have been something LSAC publishes.zacboro wrote:
Do proctors have knowledge of this? I had no idea.
I always wondered why it takes more than a week and a half to release scores. (What is the holdup besides the mail and cancellations?)

Alright so random ass question...
I was invited to join the Phi Kappa Phi honor society. I usually wipe my ass w/ those emails but apparently this one is actually a respectable one? I know PBK is considered the Mr. Big Dick, but is PKP worth joining or nah?

I'd like to second this because I had RC experimental and I also remember all of these.whacka wrote:I had LG experimental but I remember doing all of them, so they had to be realzacboro wrote:Whacka how do you know these questions were all real?
