In other news, I have basically not studied in 3 weeks now and need to get my shit together. I have been struggling to restart and so I decided to redo all of the LG drills. I think that doing that will help me to get back into the groove of actually spending time studying and then I can transition to LR/RC or slowly integrate it. I really need to get myself together, though. I spent the whole weekend considering Feb vs. June and trying to decide if I should just take another month off and restart for June.
Shak, where is this magical upload tool?? I need it to keep me accountable!

I'm sorry I got Britney stuck in my head
But I've had this problem too after I decided to postpone in September. This sounds lame, but I am writing in a study journal type thing. So once I day I will write in it "I did awesome today and studied for days on days" or I will write in it "I didn't study, I started rewatching Gossip Girl and I suck". Just a way to keep myself accountable.

lol I said to my one friend "soooo what if I told you I might push the test back again" ... he said he'd kill me lol I dont think I could deal with pushing it back again (along with the fact that I know I should get far enough by Feb to not have to...)mist4bison wrote:Exactly!! I think my friends are worse than my family at the moment. When I decided to postpone Dec a couple were legitimately angry haha. I got a lot of "so this means 2 more months of you studying. Ugh. We never do anything anymore! You should just take it and see what you get. You're good at tests." My mom thought postponing was a good idea, but only because she somehow thought it would mean I could spend less time studying. Sorry, Mom.JackelJ wrote:I feel the same way, after I postponed my mom was like, "what you didn't study enough? I thought you were smart and have been studying forever" and all my friends were like "but we miss you! you're smart you don't need to study more, just take it already!" I tried to explain the scoring and the percentiles and they thought I was ridiculous for killing myself to get from the 92nd% to 99th%. I started studying in June '14 and if I have to sit for the June '15 LSAT I think I will cry hahamist4bison wrote:That's a good idea. I did something similar. I made an excel doc with what I plan to do and what i actually did. So far I've sucked two days in a row. One motivator that I realized last night is how dumb people might think I am if I study for like 9 months. Like people that don't know what the LSAT is...aka my family haha.

I'm in this same exact situation! No one understands how the length of time you spend studying for the LSAT does not necessarily correlate to a higher LSAT score. But I agree, gotta kill the Feb LSAT to take back our lives. I wonder what I'm going to do after work and on the weekends afterwards.Jgoods wrote:lol I said to my one friend "soooo what if I told you I might push the test back again" ... he said he'd kill me lol I dont think I could deal with pushing it back again (along with the fact that I know I should get far enough by Feb to not have to...)mist4bison wrote:Exactly!! I told my mom I may be retaking in February and she goes "good luck with that! Because there's no way I would study 2 more months for that Damn test!"

I probably shouldn't have gone to Mad Mex for a big azz margarita before taking PT36 either.peppermint wrote:Had to look that one up. Yeah it's tricky. You know those LG questions that say "if M is third and T is sixth, how many possible variables could be between M and T, not including M and T?" or "if M is third and T is sixth, how many possible variables could be between M and T, including M and T?
Let's say the answer is there are three variables that can be between them (A, B, and C). To the first question, I answer 5. To the second, I answer 3. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.
There's always at least one of those questions, or a nasty substitution question, on each test. So a 179 is more reasonable than a 180.

I'm pretty sure I can bring the terms whenever I want lol. In fact, I have no idea why I agreed to them I the 1st place. I doubt I'll make it to the 25th.peppermint wrote:Haha, it's def unique. What were the terms again? You have to keep it till the 25th?

Yeah that's a doozy. Life gets a lot easier when you combine the G-H rule (1) with the GK rule (3). And you'll want the contrapositives of at least the simple conditionals (4 and 5).penncon wrote:Did PT36 this past Saturday. Did anyone else get royally screwed by LG #3? Damn that stupid bus.
