Going to study according to the study guide in the other thread, and take this. The schools I'm applying to don't start looking at apps until after the deadline and will allow the February LSAT into their decision.

Is anyone else keeping up with this thread?

I took a PT today and hit 161 from an original 154. I spent the last month working through the LR Bible, and interestingly it made a huge impact on my RC score. Went from a -12 to a -4. I have read somewhere that the Superprep A test is an easy one though, anyone else aware of this?

Plan is to spend the next month doing the LG Bible and working sections, then the remaining 2 months taking PT's as often as possible.

Sounds like a good plan Batman. I'm working through the LG bible too - I'm really taking my time with it - I just hit page 30.

Will make myself take another PT next weekend.

I've only studied LG so far but haven't taken a pt yet. Maybe this week. The LGB has been a really great aid.

Maybe this sounds silly - but my first PT was soooo bad that I'm actually terrified to take another PT and keep putting it off. If I need to I can delay until June, but scheduling-wise with working full-time and school, I really feel that Feb is the best time for me to take the lsat since I'll have a month off for winter break from Dec 11 through Jan 11.

I put today's PT off for a couple of weeks out of fear as well. I would have hated to not do any better. But breaking 160 certainly made me more excited about studying. Hopefully my future PT's will go up as well.

And that winter break where I do nothing but study should help quite a bit.

Yeah, I was a -10 today. My gains were all RC and LR. Hopefully after I get through the LG BIble I can get into the higher 160's. I'm sure you will have somewhat of an improvement, and with 3 more months of practice we can get it done. Best of luck.

How's your guys studying coming? I'm having such a hard time actually buckling down. I've only done one timed preptest and read through the first chapter of the LG bible.

Haha. I'm almost on the same page as you. I just started this week though. I'm 2 PT's in, and like 3 chapters into the LG bible.

Great! Though I won't promise I will post my score - I'll just indicate whether it was an improvement.

It seems a lot of us here are doing to LG bible so maybe if we have q's on that we can post here as well.

I scored a 157 on my diagnostic a few days ago (June '07) and am now working through the bibles to get a solid understanding of the basics before I start taking PTs.

I am finished with the LR Bible, and chapter 1 of the LG Bible. And I'm trying to make a final decision on whether or not to sign up for an online Powerscore class. The class I've had my eye on (w/ only 1x per week online class) starts in about a week...so time is running out.

On one hand, I feel like I already have the bibles and a cr@pload of PTs...so maybe a weekly 3 hour class starting from square one while I'm well into the bibles might be a waste of my available study time.

On the other hand, I can already tell I'm going to need to go through the LR Bible at least once more for a full grasp...so if the classes can take me from knowledgeable to mastery, they might be worth it.

But then, maybe I can take myself from knowledgeable to mastery and keep my $1,000!

I was thinking about doing the PS live online that starts inabout a week on sunday nights. But came to the realisation that like you, I'd rather purchase the materials and save my grand.

I think you will be better off doing it on your own. Also, I don't think you will really have to go through the whole LR Bible again. I just plan on keeping track of what question types I tend to get wrong, then going back and looking at those chapters. Just my two cents though.

Longtime lurker, first time poster here!

I am gearing up to take the LSAT in Feb assuming I get my scores where I need to. I'm prep testing in the low to mid 160s (untimed), and am aiming for 170+. If I can't get there by February I may just skip it and take the test in June. It is hard to make time to study with a new girlfriend + a full time job, but I am managing.

Oh, and I bought all of the bibles and the preptest books from LSAC.

I am in the 2010 cycle, but could move to 2011...depending on my feb score. I took it in June and got 168, aiming for 170+ this time. I think if you are W/L you could retake in Feb to get off the w/l. I know several people that did this last year.

I'm quitting my job not only to study for the lsat but because I have to in order to take my last few classes which meet only during the day.
