trying to think of the tough LRs...
monkeys and screwdrivers was a tough one
people watching themselves exercise on video tripped me up
the one about evolution not always leading to optimal survival, with the example of moose antlers
govt secrets and abuses of power too

Re: June 2017 Waiters Thread
Ur my lsat twin. LG best section I was expecting a crazy hard last game bc I had 20min left going into it but nope. And F that RC. I hope it didn't kill my score. I wish it was hard LG and easy RC. We'll find out in a few weeks how it really wentdevilsadvocatetroll wrote:Games is my best section. Talent completely wasted on this joke of an LG section. Finished with 10 minutes to spare.
RC is my worst section. Got shat on by LSAC.
2 LRs were a joke, but the 25q LR which apparently was real was my 5th section and I got pwned by fatigue.
Is this thread the best support group for LSAC induced depression?

Re: June 2017 Waiters Thread
My thoughts on the test: RC overall is not hard, but I do think the comparative passage is hard. The 26 question LR: a bit hard for me. The 25 Question LR: moderate/easy. LG: First 3 games very easy, game 4 seems also easy, but i spend lots of bruce forcing and end up guessing on the last question.

I was literally waiting for the 4th game to be super experimental cause of all the time I had then when it wasn't I knew this test wasn't gonna go well.augustyyy wrote:same same same heredevilsadvocatetroll wrote:Games is my best section. LG is always my best I was hoping for a hard one to push down the curve and to offset my mistakes in RC
guess not going to happen

Oh yeah I forgot about that one. I did that through POE but even then I was like "this answer doesn't make perfect sense"njames1961 wrote:trying to think of the tough LRs...

What's the ETA on getting these back? I know the Feb one was back way before they said. I ask because I'm deposited somewhere but planning to withdraw if I do well enough (and I should based on PTs).

We had one girl who had 2 last names on her ticket, but only one on her ID, she didn't get to test.Walliums wrote:Oooh! Apparently some lady at the front of the building was confiscating highlighters. Scandal! One of our proctors had to go down and get a number of highlighters from her.roflsat wrote:Anybody have any fun test center stories/nightmares today?
There was also this one guy in my section who was just, oh my. I guess airhead would be a kind enough description.
Then when I was on break another room was let out, this guy walks out of the room and then right infront of a proctor takes his phone out of his pocket! He realized he fucked up immediately but it was too late, he got kicked out. He was begging the proctors, said there were no no phone signs (there were plenty) and even threw his phone in the trash to show he wasn't trying to cheat.
The proctors I had were very efficient and nice, and the room/desks were great. Even though it was an hour drive I'll take there again if I have to retake in September.

I was the exact opposite. I mouthed "Yes!!!" to myself as I saw the last game because I suck at weird games and knew it was likely that I would go -0/-1 in LG, which I think I did.devilsadvocatetroll wrote:I was literally waiting for the 4th game to be super experimental cause of all the time I had then when it wasn't I knew this test wasn't gonna go well.augustyyy wrote:same same same heredevilsadvocatetroll wrote:Games is my best section. Re: June 2017 Waiters Thread
Logical reasoning IMO was a bit harder than average, including the experimental. The RC wasn't that bad, aside from the psychological one which was difficult to understand. Comparitive passage was also difficult, though less. The LG section got easier as each game went down for me, the last being the easiest.
I would say this test followed the overall trend of recent tests by leading out with difficult questions as well.
DID ANYONE ELSE FEEL LIKE A SAD BAKED POTATO LEFT OUT FOR TOO LONG AT YOUR WEIRD AUNTS BBQ AT THE BEGINNING OF THE FIRST SECTION?

That evolution and exercise questions were brutal. Pretty sure those were both misses. Think I got monkeys and Gov abuse (this one was sneaky but really pretty easy if you read carefully) right.Jack_Kelly wrote:I no joke changed my answer on this one 7 or 8 times. Has the LSAT had RC passages taken from historical sources before (e.g. parliamentary debates in 19th-century Britain)? I had an experimental comparative passage like this, reminded me of the AP history essays.

Hello guys!
I feel good. Like really good. I had nearly my ideal section order with RC LR LG LR LG. The LGs were so incredibly easy I had fifteen minutes for the last game. Reading comp was definitely more difficult than average but I think I got through it. LR1 (26) was a breeze, LR2 (25) was a bit more difficult imo but still not impossible.
Overall... I want my score back.

I don't think so, but as a history major this sounds awesome. More interesting than another jazz or impressionism passage.roflsat wrote:Has the LSAT had RC passages taken from historical sources before (e.g. parliamentary debates in 19th-century Britain)?
