808 didn't sit right with me, it has some good hits but it isn't an album that I can listen to cover to cover.

When I was a stupid little kid whenever I'd hear them talk about 808 drums in a song, I thought they were referencing Hawaii because it's the area code there. This is many moons before 808s & Heartbreak though, which I do believe was revolutionary.

808s was awful. Only 'Ye album I don't like. I'm not trying to hear a dude who can't sing try to compensate with autotune while he's whinging and moaning about. TLOP was good, but I only listened to it once because to hell with Tidal or paying 20 bucks for an mp3 download. He should have given it a proper vinyl and CD release. Guess I could have bootlegged it but meh.
