Thinking about a more structured, formal approach to LR questions. LR sinked me on 70 and it was my strong suit going in. Perhaps that's the downside of Manhattan's more informal approach. Any suggestions?

Currently leaning heavily towards becoming a member of this thread. Going to give it a nights sleep before deciding if a third attempt is right for me. Proud of my improvements, but I am ultra-debt adverse and think I might be able to improve. (Also, Curse you UG-self for not caring enough Freshman year).

Helloooooo December. Wine tonight and Walking Dead, as a reminder life could be far worse than scoring lower on the October test than any of my PTs.. Which feels pretty fucking low right now. Hitting it hard tomorrow.

160 in February 2011, 168 October 2013, Since I have a 3.4 GPA and HYS are out of the picture anyway then there is no reason not to retake, right? I don't feel like prepping as hard as I did for October and I would like to think that most of the legwork is done and it's just a matter of getting closer to my 170-171ish average. Do you think I can just work through the LSAT trainer and redo the last 10 or so PTs in the next month and have a chance of scoring better in December? Thoughts?

+1 a poor LSAT score pales in comparison to "walkers" :)

Idk if you're keeping up with the show, but it's the flu now! Get your flu shot people!! The sniffles could be a major time suck in the December test.

I'm sleeping on it, but with my 3.0 and 168 I know I can do better, was just starting to break into 170 (with an odd 180 once) the week before the test. If I do, I'm hoping reviewing some of the guides here and doing about 10-15 PTs will be adequate.

I am wondering about the trainer as well... I got to a 168 using Manhattan and Powerscore. Can it get me all the way to 170+?

IT'S AMAZING!! I credit this book for my 180. I was having a slight rough patch in LR and RC three weeks before the test, and I bought this book with only two weeks to go. It revolutionized my approach, and I have no doubt that I would not have done as well as I did without it.

Any thoughts on 7sage for LR? Can't believe I'm asking for LR help but the -9 on Oct speaks volumes.

were you doing well w/ LG before using the trainer? if not, did it help you?

at this point, my entire gameplan is to GET OVER my lg hangups.
A few weeks before the exam, I suddenly realized that I wasn't struggling at all with LG anymore. Almost nothing fazed me, and all of the questions I missed in LG were misbubbles or dumb mistakes. Given that I only had two weeks to go and seemed to have a very good grasp of LG, I didn't want to rock the boat and try looking at something new. Plus I had almost no time because the book arrived on September 24, so I put all of my energy into LR and RC.
