Well, I've been pretty much exclusively lurking for the last few months since I decided to take in June. Let me tell you, prepping for the LSAT while working full time as a teacher is kind-of balls.ruizdaw wrote:Tell everybody to get in here! I know what you mean. I basically cut everything except school work and eating and sleeping out of my life.Joscellin wrote:Well, I've been pretty much exclusively lurking for the last few months since I decided to take in June. I wish. On the upside, TLS isn't blocked at work, so I have a fair bit of time to browse since this week was just finals review and next week finals (I teach Algebra). PTing or drilling is totally unrealistic thoughruizdaw wrote:I know what you mean. Re: The Official June 2015 Study Group
Is/has anyone else experienced an influx of intellectual auto-pilot while taking PTs or drilling?
It's difficult to describe, but it sort of feels like I'm just mindlessly going through the questions as opposed to being truly focused as I once was. As a result, I've been getting a few extra wrong and that's been knocking me off the 170+ train. Any advice on this?

Re: The Official June 2015 Study Group
I just started to notice that I was doing this but if anything it's been giving the biggest jump. When there's only 4 questions on any section that really make you go in the tank it's a lot more efficient.kevgogators wrote:Is/has anyone else experienced an influx of intellectual auto-pilot while taking PTs or drilling?

I don't. I signed up and went through an in-person class and am working off of hard copy materials.whacka wrote:Do you have PDFs of the PTs? That's how I PT/drill at work. I just put my answers in a word document in another window so the two windows are side-by-side
Even if I did, though, classroom conditions are rarely conducive to the teacher focusing intently on lsat questions for minutes+ at a time.
PTing after school is the go-to for me, about to start PT60 now.

I know what you mean. Initially this feeling helped with timing tremendously, it's just as of late that I've caught myself making careless mistakes like misreading or whatever. I've been going like -3 per LR when I used to consistently achieve -1 or so. IDK what's going on.ruizdaw wrote:I just started to notice that I was doing this but if anything it's been giving the biggest jump. These trails are sooooooo remote. I'd be surprised if they saw 20 hikers per year.
