Drilled four sections of games tonight (PT's 52, 53, 54, and 61). I've taken all four of those practice tests before so they weren't new games for me, but I'm trying to get more comfortable with switching from one game type to another during the section so I'm redoing some of the sections I had done before. I've been noting which games have been particularly challenging for me and I think I'm going to start making four game sections from those ones here soon.

Sadly, I have decided to wait until February to take my LSAT. I realized that I really needed to take a frat lap before law school because I may never get this chance again. I'll have my application and letter of recs ready by next August!

Frat laps for the boys! Use the extra time wisely and study consistently so you have the best shot at performing your best.

PT 60
-1 lr (45 min sec)
-4 lg
-3 lr (35 min sec)
-3 rc

1st ever 170! Woop woooop!
Had a hard time with the last two games, thought the last was super weird but finally got it. Anybody have any suggestions for really hard basic linear games to try?? I need more practice with these.

PT 63
Got a personal best, 168

-2 LR
-2 LG
-5 LR
-4 RC

Games were easy I think because usually I don't finish all four games. I think I'm getting a better hang of LR by just reviewing each PT on the manhattan forums. So close to 170 though!

Yeah... so kinda cheating towards my overall score but wanted to test my accuracy w/ a little less timing constraints.

Good work!! Im in the exact same boat as you-- if I can get LR down solid by December and keep RC/LG to a minimum, Ill be well off. Ive been doing the same for reviewing and had a revelation last week about skipping one or two Qs... it helped me a bunch for section management. Heres the article if you wanna look-- https://7sage.com/why-you-have-to-skip- ... -the-lsat/.

I'm considering just working part-time for a law firm during the next year. Nothing too special. Do you suggest getting real work experience first? I honestly just want to travel and breathe for a bit

Not taking LSAT's anytime soon (June/Sept most likely), but wanted to ask a question about reviewing. What method do y'all take in reviewing after doing timed sections? Specifically for LG sections.

Watch the 7Sage videos for problem games then redo the game later/next day/in the future using the correct setup and inferences.

Rigo's got it!

best way I've found! "Fool proofing" the games:

The things I'd do for this to end up being my September score. 7sage has really been helping me with LR. I finished the first two games in 15 minutes and then proceeded to spend about 18 minutes on game 3 :?
Great score, very impressive on logical reasoning. 7sage has helped me a lot LG Could you elaborate a bit on how 7sage has helped you with LR?
Thanks! I've been averaging around -2 per LR section and hadn't gone -0 total on two sections before so I was pleasantly surprised. 7sage has helped me pick up on a lot of minor details that just didn't really click for me while I was going through the Manhattan LR Book. Their videos where they'll spend 6-7 minutes on a single question have really helped me with breaking down the stimulus and understanding what exactly I'm supposed to be looking for given a certain question stem. For example, I'm going through the Weaken lessons right now and it's finally clicking for me that I'm not looking to attack the premises or conclusions which had caused me problems in the past. Going through their videos has also helped me start to pick up on a lot of the common "trap answers" LSAC likes to throw at us which has helped me a lot when I've narrowed it down to two answers. Have you bought one of their courses or do you just use their free LG explanations?
Thanks for the explanation. Aside from their LG videos, I am more or less self taught. I buy the prep books and pt's and really analyze all that I do. I am not too sure how much I'd benefit from their videos at this point. My last three tests were 170, 172, 174* (discount a small bubbling error). My average LR score on the last 3 tests was -3.5 per section. At this point I am just brute forcing way may through my weak question types and really analyzing each question, 50 or 100 so questions at a time.
Ahh okay gotcha. A lot of the LR content I've went through on 7sage has been on foundational things. If you've got a good handle there then there probably wouldn't be very much added that you didn't already know. When you're going through your weak question types do you do them untimed and break down each question as you go along or do you do timed sets and then break them down once you've finished the set?

I do them untimed, and carefully analyze each question. I go back and carefully look at any questions that I got wrong or was a bit confused after completing the entire section.

PT 44: 169

RC: -7
LR 1: -0
LG: -0
LR 2: -4

Happy with the LR performance, I think my RC performance was more of an anomaly than anything. I have missed that many on a RC section in quite some time. I missed 3 questions on the first, and what I thought was the easiest passage. Only missed 1 on what I believed was the hardest passage.

Post-graduate experience is huge, imo. Most schools, especially NU, want at least some, however, if you have the numbers, then it really doesn't matter. I'd get a part-time job, and just focus the rest of the time on keeping your GPA tight, and smashing sorostitutes.
