I'm really hoping Logic Games are as learnable as everyone says they are. If I could get my LG down to -0/-2, I'd be hitting 170.

I'm really hoping Logic Games are as learnable as everyone says they are. If I could get my LG down to -0/-2, I'd be hitting 170.

They are. I started at -13 I think and really guessed at some of them. Now I'm consistently -0 with about 10+ mins to spare. It just takes some time...don't write LG off yet...just try your best, try everything you can.

Now that I (kindaish) know the basics, is the key to just drill by question type?

And I think timing will be my main problem. I missed a bunch in RC because the way I was taking notes slowed me down.

Did you finish whatever book you were using? If so, now I'd suggest drilling and watching 7 sage videos. So drill a game and then watch how JY does it and learn from him. Then repeat until for a number of games. Eventually you won't need to watch the videos or you'll find that you and Jy had the exact same thought process. He also gives approx times which is cool.

How much are you noting? You shouldn't really be actually writing words/sentences. Too time consuming.

169 in Oct 2012, Cancelled in June 2013, 172 in June 2014.

Now I'm taking Feb 2015 too...

Even I hate me.

I'm going to pretend it's okay because I'm a tutor. That way I can justify looking like a such try-hard.

Hopefully my schools will never see I took it a fourth time. Might submit my Feb score for some scholly leverage, but it'll come with the "IT'S OKAY I'M A TUTOR" tagline.

Really gunning for a 179. Last preptest was 176 and I didn't finish the last two questions on games (go super slooowwww when I teach). So here's hoping.

Realizing that these 170+ scores are possible is both exciting, because it could open up so many doors, but it also scares me because it means I owe it to myself to get there.

Taught here and there even during undergrad (had a high diagnostic). One-on-one paid tutoring since August. Class since Sept.

For the challenge, to pad my chances at YHCC, maybe a little scholly leverage. I'm a bit of a splitter (3.55 LSAC) so it'd be nice.

But mostly because LSAT tutoring is hella fun and really easy money. I'd like to have a crazy score in my back pocket in case I want to pick up a class here or there before, during, or after school.

June 2013. Year off as a paralegal, then switched to PT paralegal and PT tutor.

Mist, I've been spending way too much time thinking about postponing to June too. I haven't been studying as much as I know I should, I think it's a combo of burnout & the holidays. I just need to figure out a way to motivate myself to push hard till the end of Jan so I can reassess & figure out what to do, but Idk, the struggle is real.

I definitely think after Christmas I'll be more motivated, but January until June is a looooooong stretch. Why can't the feb test be in March? It really makes zero sense that it's only 2 months after dec and 4 months before June. I just don't know what to do :/ I mean if if I PT every weekend that's only 8 max, which will put me at 12 PTs. Is that enough for Feb? Ughhhhhh. I don't know what to do

Watched football all day, ate a shit ton, been drinking since 3, and now going to bed. After yesterday's fiasco of my first attempt at the LSAT, it was a well deserved day of do whatever I want to do. Back to the grind for February tomorrow with 7sage. Hopefully JY can help me out.
