Re: The Official December 2014 Study Group
PT 34 review. Albeit older test, I thought this was just as challenging as the PT 60's. But damn, I got a 165!
LR1: 18/25 (Had a hard time figuring out what the stimulus was saying, wasted some time rereading)
RC: 21/26 (I consider this really good....)
LR2: 21/26 (Still some trouble getting in the "zone". I missed 4 in a span of 6 questions 12-17 range....but finally got in the zone and got 18-26 all right under time crunch)
LG: 21/24 (First 3 games were easy, then the last one gave me trouble)
81/101 Score 165

@nlee10, your my least favorite person right now, you said PT66 would be a good confidence booster but the LR was soooo hard I nearly cried during the test
PT66
RC -4
LR1 -3
LG -3
LR2 -5
Raw 86
Scaled 167
PT66 LR was just too much for me, it's filled with NA, Flaw and Sufficient Assumption questions none of which I am good at, that -8 combined LR score is the result of luck and POE.
I've been drilling RC the past couple of days and plan to continue drilling everyday until Dec 6, hopefully I can get my RC down to -1 or -2 by test day.
I'm still weak in a few LG games types so I plan to work on LG everyday until test day as well. This is my second 167 hopefully I can break 170 in the next week or so

ETA: But you can break 170! I'm hoping to improve on RC as well, still too inconsistent! Hoping for -4 to -6 by test day.

Unsolicited answer: I did warmup. When I didn't, I found that I was too stiff and it took me too long to get in my zone. On test day, I did 1 RC passage, 1 LG game, and like 5 LR questions. It doesn't take much and it shouldn't wear you out. Just enough to get your brain to start up.

I walked my dog on the day of the test, too. Maybe that's the secret??Dirigo wrote:*shops for cat leashes online*schmelling wrote: I would sometimes do an easy Logic game that I had done previously, usually I just went in cold.
